I just love the old-school graphics in general, yeah they’re crappy but to me they embody the spirit of what Runescape used to be, as opposed to the new version which just seems like something different

I never liked new school RS tho even when it first came out, the new OSRS is amazing though, to me it seems identical to the Runescape I played 10-12 years ago which is awesome

People love saying OS is better but few can actually give a good reason for it. I was playing RS in 2005 and the main differences are inflation and a bunch of quality of life improvements. There's lots of options for skilling that aren't there in OS that make for way better XP rates without sacrificing ease of socializing. Mining for instance was just updated and there's no more competing for ores. Even just doing clay or gold w/o an ore box now has become tedious. There are so many ways RS3 takes a fat dump on old school. It has water that looks like water. Honestly, even OS isn't "the RuneScape I remember" so it seems nooby when people talk how it's just like the good old days..
