God, have to proofread.  They came out wrong.  Off it.  Lol.

For those that have done the trail.  What does one do once one reaches the Canadian border?  Have a passport.  Just curious when the trail runs out where people go.  Should of asked last year but was to busy choking on the smoke to think about it.

Check out pcta.org for info on an entry permit into Canada and lots or other great info. I wish it was legal to cross southbound! I hope to finish Washington this year.

Yeah, am familiar with the website and on the mailing list but they always send me mail to donate.  Just interested in people on the Shroomery who know about the PCT and hike it.  Have been on it twice.  Never the whole thing.  I have it planned to fly into Portland and get to Canada in August in under a month.

Can do around 16 miles a day but I never hurry on the trail.  That is the best thing, people want to tie me down with work and waste my summer.  Not a fucking chance in hell, lol.  People that give their lives away for the dollar, or pound, or euro, etc.  Not for me.  No one is taking this time from me.

Amazing growing up how the dollar was so much more valuable than Canadian currancy.  Now it is the other way around.  That is the best thing about going on the trail, no cost for hotels or hostels and is so afforadable.  It is like getting back to what it means to be human once a year.  What one is capable of.  Awesome!:sun:

Got it all planned it all out after a hell of a lot research.  Actually going to start by flying into Portland.  Make it to the trail from there, only one road and not that far to get on the PCT.  But that will be in August.  Made a joke coming back from it last year with this cool guy on Amtrak and we laughed about flying near the end of the trail and then getting to the end of the trail.  Then going Oh MY GOD!  I made it from the beginning at the Mexico border, and hugging people and shit.

Nah.  Going to be fun.  3 vacations starting in February.  A week in Austin hiking trails by a lake and 3 miles to downtown.  That is going to be just a get fucked up and have fun week.  Like many European countries they really should give people in the States more time off and paid vacations and such.  Really puts one in a good mood.
