8 or 9 years ago I used a lot of dream herb and my dreaming has never been the same. It’s pretty wild. I don’t recommend it.

You are not the first person to suggest I'm just not remembering my dreams. I suppose it's possible but odd I wouldn't recall my dreams even when I first wake up.

Just wanted to clarify something:

The sleep cycle is like a roller coaster with 6 stages including "awake" and REM.

Each stage is characterized by different frequencies associated with brain activity.

Stage 3 and 4 are deep sleep and are associated with delta waves which are very
low frequency and extremely little brain activity. This is the deepest level of
sleep.

REM sleep is associated with alpha waves, the same associated with stage 1 sleep
which is basically the dozing off stage. Dreams occur in REM sleep so basically
when you are dreaming, you are very close to an awake state of mind.

You have dozens of dreams a night, but since you drift between stages as you sleep, like a roller coaster,
you only hit REM at certain points. Lomg story short, you only remember dreams
if you are woken up from REM sleep. If you go straight from stage 3 to awake,
you dont remember any dreams.

If you go into REM, start dreaming, and are woken up, you remember the dream
since the brain wave activity is near identical between the two states.

Look at the wake state and REM wave similarities:

I vaguely remember taking a road trip vacation in a dream with other people. Cannot remember any other details about the car or people inside it or selling hash oil sadly. Do u remember the date by chance this happened? Recently perhaps?

Cool stuff thou :strokebeard:

this dream took place, a year and a week ago to the date - 1/20/2018 - relative to the date that i stand at now.

i reread every dream from past five years on the night i fall asleep, so tonight will be 1/27/2014-2018

however, i did not ask you what the date was in the dream,

so who knows what terra-time it was.

I dreamt last night i was on top of a building next to the world trade center, and something had been launched up and out of the building from a quarter of the way down from the top. Windows were broken out marking its path through the building and there were strange marks all over the sides. And then somehow i moved from one roof to another and i got really scared of falling, felt the fear in my whole body, which made me start thinking about how people who jumped on 9/11 must have felt. Which made me realize how desensitized i am to seeing shit like that.

I dont know why that would all enter my head while im sleeping though.

Ive been thinking about re occurring  dreams though and there is one that came to mind that ive had a couple times recently.  Im in a skatepark on my bike and im going up and down ramps like a scared bitch constantly thinking about how i used to be able to do a bunch of cool shit and go fast and fly high out of ramps and was never scared just excited. Feels really defeating every time. But for some strange reason the last time i had this dream fuckin machine gun kelly was at the park. Lol.  What the fuck.  I dont even listen to him.

it's interesting how our brains choose who, and what, and where to dream.

familiar vs unfamiliar landscapes,
or close friends and family versus people that may seem 'random'

why would i have a dream with you in it LogicaL?

as far as i know, you never told me your name or anything in the dream, i just knew it was you,
and clearly we were acquaintances, had had prior encounters,
but, i have no prior memories of having a dream with you in it prior to the one i mentioned above

I have reocurring dreams but instead of the same exact dreams it's as if I'm waking up inside another reality/life where I've been before and the story continues more or less where it left off.

I had a dream the other night.  I felt something very strong and was talking to the Dhalli Llama.  It was pretty and cool.  I was telling people and really felt like each universe in the multiverse developed it's own mind.  Becoming a god.  So this universe and god was a male and wanted me to travel to another universe that was a woman that he wanted me to ask out for him for a date.

Plenty of room for psychoanalysis.

It felt beyond great to speak with the dalli llama.  I was very very high in that part.

Although in real life his message seems not very dark and I tend to think the enlightened made peace with that.

Then again a lot of history went down that's hard to make peace with.  Such as the loss of Tibet.  A people that were once again, too passive to survive an invasion.

it's kinda like that with an unrealized shadow aspect of self.  It gets experienced one way or another.

I used to have a recurring dream years ago, had it many times.  Like every few weeks I would dream about this ancient city deep in the ocean.  I could go there somehow, and there were no people but it was old stone buildings and marine life.  Strange big deep sea creatures, iridescent animals, etc.  The dream was different every time, but always in the same place.  I would explore the city and just marvel at it.  This was like ten years ago so my memory is a bit hazy, but one night while I was dreaming i was there, I did something that caused the whole city to crumble.  Buildings collapsing, huge monoliths falling through water.  I snapped awake in a panic, and never dreamed of it again.

Holy shit, sounds like Atlantis! Incredible.

It was Atlantis until he destroyed it

Do people that took DMT have DMT dreams?  It seems to have no real lasting influence on the forums.

It's not exactly described as self love.  LSD was when it didn't have all the bad media stories.

Don't you see it?  That's what a test subject kept asking.  She started seeing her mind and was not harmed by it.

But as we know, tripping folks are sensitive to others feelings.  Kinda a pre-cognition where it can just go very badly, being too far ahead.  For the viewer of possible future without any enlightened vision.

Yeah, I get one where I am walking through a dark jungle and then I get tackled to the ground as I am pinned there I feel my pants getting torn away and my supple buttocks are exposed to the jungle heat, I notice the humidity in the air, swamp ass soon finds its way in-between the two scoops which are my buttcheeks.

It's then that I hear it, a strange voice, strange but familiar...it says "I'm here to tell you about Dinosaurs" and as I struggle I catch a glimpse of its face, it's that fucking DNA strand from Jurrasic Park.  It slams my head down into the soft Jurrasic soil, I see stars, then I feel warm breath on the nape of my neck as I hear it whisper in my ear "Ima get that Jurrasic Ass", and then I wake up.

just joking.  reoccurring dreams should not be told to anyone because they offer a glimpse into a part of mind you don't want the wrong people poking around in.
