I didn’t think anyone was trying to be rude to ya sis.  Mushboy has a certain condescending way of talking to anyone so don’t take it personally, they just get tired of arguing with people. 

Seems like you had a good first run, so welcome to the shroomery.  I think this is the premier body of Mycological knowledge, so get comfy.

Your opinion is wrong because, as stated above, it's not based in facts. Bruising means mushrooms were mishandled, not that they're more potent. My albinos stay white (kinda silvery caps) while dried and will kick your ass.


And that's not what I was debating. I am sure I was wrong. I was just debating semantics about opinion. Sorry wrong place and guess wrong time. Nothing meant by it. Really enjoy the the form and have leaned a lot.

If you've got an oven with a warming drawer that works great. I was only able to harvest 10 - 20 grams at a time from my cakes so I'd fire up the warming drawer (140F) with the fruits on a drying rack. It would run for 3 hours, I'd let it sit for another 3 hours, and the repeat that 3 times. Cracker dry and then I'd store them in a jar with a large desiccant pack.
