Here are some pictures of the Bolete mushrooms that I found today. They were found in East Bay Area, CA and growing under Oak type trees, but in a mixed forest. Are these Aureoboletus Citriniporus?
Stems are about 2 to 3" each and the cap is about the same. There are brown spots on the stems and the meat is mostly white with some yellowing in a few areas.

Here are a few other mushrooms that I seen along my hike.

#1 Suillus sp. #2 Amanita muscaria group. #3 Compare with Amanita vaginata. #4 Helvella lacunosa. considering your location, Helvella dryophila is more likely.

Your boletes look like slippery jacks - Suillus granulatus

-------------------- Disclaimer - I'm just a hobbyist and cannot absolutely guarantee any ID offered. I'm most familiar with the species found in the Pacific Northwest - those found in other parts of the world may vary considerably, so always do your own research to find out what grows in your area and what lookalikes you need to aware of. Understand that many mushroom species cannot be 100% reliably identified by photographs alone, even by an expert, so it may not be possible to go beyond suggesting a probable genus.

I agree, however, #2 is Amanita Muscaria var. Flavivolvata
