A little unclear on whats next.

After inoculation do you just put the jars in the dark and forget them for a little while? Also do they need a heater or just a 70 degree temperature? Ther are about 80 in the day and 70 all night.
In my closet I check on them a couple times a day thats it. No heater or humidifier is that ok? Thank you guys peace out.

Yeah you pretty much got it right. Put the jars in an environment that is dark, as sterile as possible and ideally you want the temp to be as close to 86f without going over. Also, you want to turn your jars upsidedown for better gas exchange. I've read where people do this at first signs of myc growth and also some who wait until 75% colonization. I would look into building a tub in tub inccubator. It's an easy way to ensure right temps and a sterile environment. Hope this helped!
