Red bull is so fuckin good

I fucking love the shit. I take adderall and when it isnt working well or its worn off, i drink a red bull and i feel more focused and motivated than i do after taking adderall. If it wasnt so expensive  i would just buy cases of the shit and become an addict.  Its gotta be something besides the caffiene in it that makes me feel so ontop of shit. Other energy drinks dont do shit for me.

Anyone else love this unhealthy shit as much as i do?

It's taurine. You could just jerk-off a few bulls and add their jizz to your coffee. It will probably taste better than the red bull.

I heard a story of a construction worker that went hardcore into an energy drink, maybe red bull, for weeks and it jacked his system up and he turned orange.

red bull does not do that much to me, i drink the green apple hardcore rockstar 240 mg caffeine that does the trick for me. just one in the morning tho and then coffee the rest of the day otherwise if i keep drinking the hardcore rockstars i get jittery as hell and very irritable. i feel like i need it in the morning idk if its just a mental thing or if there is somewhat of and addiction thing going on.

red bull is good tho i just dont think it has the kick.

I have a friend who is a self proclaimed red bull addict. I'm talking like when I open his car door redbull cans are just falling out all over the place. We go to the gas station and he gets 2 of the big cans and before we leave he finishes 1 of them and saves the other for later. Well one time we get back to my house after he chugged a redbull and he threw up and just shrugged it off and was like yeah that happens sometimes. :rofl:

Haha my buddy who is a former tweaker is similar. I remember he drank 3 240mg caffeine Monsters on a 2 hour car ride and it was like nothing happened. He calls them power drinks lol

When I drove 4000 miles cross country, I hardly used energy drinks on the way there.

But on the way back, I lived by them, drinking them, and then crashing by the exit in some parking lot in my vehicle.


I did crazy stretches like 800+ miles per day.



However. When I finally got home, I didn't have anything at all. Not even coffee...

and the withdrawal and effects were REALLY fucked up, majorly. I remember being barely able to move, or get out of bed to even use the bathroom for like 2 days. It was pure hell. And I had only been on the energy drinks for like two weeks.



Needless to say that was years ago and I haven't touched one since.

That should stop me from wanting them but. With my current schedule im home and awake for like 3 hours a day if that. I used to run on sugar free red bulls and tequila when I was younger working nightclubs.  The regular flavor is too syrupy for me, the lime flavor is good.  I have an energy drink maybe 2x a month if I'm doing a project or something. 

Much prefer coffee in the morning and tea during the day.

The best is just setting up jars of cold brew coffee.


Tea during the day after coffee in the morning makes me feel kinda yuck. I'd prefer to just stick to tea or coffee.

Yea usually tea for me is herbal not caffeinated.  More for flavor and when it is cold the hot mug.

Grew up with tea, then coffee,  then tea again, now I drink both regularly. 

The things you drink when you don't drink alcohol anymore lol.

Yep! My favorite is cold brew though.

I buy pure BPA free bottle distilled water and pour it over some dope ass coffee and let it sit for 24 hours or more in a fridge. And then filter it out.


Eff buying coffee from a shop. That stuff is dirty as heck.


Nothing like pure clean home coldbrew.

I'm going to bring myself to spend $20 on some blue mountain Jamaican some day soon.

Once in awhile we get locally roasted beans but generally get something a little more affordable.  Quality beans are worth the groove though.  I wouldn't mind a full barista station at some point at home.

I'm telling you. a $7 bag of whole bean coffee ground down to cold brew lasts at least a week or more.



All cold brew is, leaving the grinds on water for 24 hours.


It's low acid and tasty as fuck. I love it over hot brew ANY DAY

At times.  More into coffee mixers and vodka.  I don't like to be to amped up but I get what you are saying.  Made me laugh seeing an energy drink in the organic section that was organic.  Red Bull is different of course but I will only drink it in Y bombs. 

Seriously, I am prescribed medication to slow my brain down and energy drinks make it go miles a second.  I still do it anyway, lol.  It is kind of fun at times.  I used to binge coke and meth many years ago.  Feels somewhat similar though in a far less way of course.  To each their own.  Having white Russians now mixed with k-pins.  I like the feeling.

If I just take red bull, no, it is a smoke, (something else that slows it down) and a bit of bliss and then the comedown which is hell to me where the world and my life seems so depressing.  It is not.  Not that I don't get it, I do, body and mind chemistry and understanding what fits oneself is a wonderful thing.

Interesting. I have this effect where they make me feel odd. I dont trust them. Ive heard theres a strange chemical in Red Bull that numbs your throat. No wonder people can chug the stuff with ease.

So fucking good.  Idk if i just associate the taste with the feeling i get or what but i get bummed out as soon as i finish the last drop. Even when the effects kick in i just want the taste back. I bought a 4 pack today.. I need to fuckin end this affair. I remember a few months ago i was a year clean from all drugs looking at people buying enery drinks and laughing at how how they are hooked to something so arbitrary and stupid. And now here i am.    I think im just an addict through and through. I get addicted to everything. I was probably addicted to not being addicted when i was just drinking water and eating healthy for over a yr.

My brain goes way to fast so anything stimulating really helps slow it down, used to take adderall when I was younger which was a lifesaver.

Anyway, I sometimes buy all sorts of energy drinks, Monster is not sweetened with phenylalanine, opt for the no sugar one sweetened with erythritol, or the lightly sweetened one which I think has a small amount of tea in it but hardly any sugar.

There are a whole bunch of natural ones which have a decent amount of stimulating stuff in them like Runa, Hi-Ball, Sambazon to name a few, I have had all of those but never the full sugar ones because I find large amounts of sugar to make me feel sick.

Cold brew is good, but the added stuff in other drinks really helps up the focus factor for myself.  Kombucha is primo stuff but can be expensive unless you want to brew your own which is a good hobby, you can add other stuff to your homebrewed booch to up the health factor like medicinal mushrooms, greens, etc.  Tea is good, I will often mix black and green bags in one large bottle because I like the feeling of both of them combined.  Probably sounds crazy but I can feel a difference between black and green tea, could all be in my head though.

Anyway, I have found beverages like these to actually help certain practices I delve into, such as they actually help me meditate better because they slow my mind down, strange how that works.

Im the same way. After a redbull, and especially if im in the right phase of my adderalls effects, i can talk to people like a fuckin therapist im just so on it so confident i can account for every variable and consider every angle. I hate saying i cant do this without some substance but it really does seem this way. I always end up thinking a million things at once and it fucks me up. I cant even get words out right sometimes cause my mind is in a different place from the situation im in. Seems like these racing thoughts cause anxiety and then anxiety causes more racing thoughts. 

Although i cant imagine adderall or redbull or whatever is better than some type of meditation or mantra to get the mind under control. These things are gonna make shit worse eventually some way or another

I can't stand the shit... Smells and Tastes like carbonated cough syrup to me lol.

That and it's waaay to expensive for the 'punch' it packs, which is actually pretty weak, especially considering the price.

My fav 'energy 'drink' isn't even really a drink... A 200mg caffeine pill with 80mgs of ephedrine swallowed with a glass of water in the morning does the trick every time, and is much, much cheaper... And actually works.

Redbull does not give you wings, it gives you weird breath and gut issues (sorta like coffee :lol:)


Someone on a job site can crack a redbull and I'll know... Doesn't mattter how far away they are, I smell it, a very distinct and potent chemically kinda smell... Not sure what that flavor is supposed to be but it's a bit strange tbh.

At least the others have a choice of flavours and are cheaper and have like double the caffeine content, even though those flavors are also pretty fucking strange.

Not that you were responding to me but it happens on the Shroomery.  I feel no shame.  I rarely sign in if I am not or on the way to doing so.  Life is great and enjoying it and I would take it a step further.  All energy drinks are shit.

I said cold brew is still expensive even if you get a good deal on coffee because of how much ground coffee it takes to make cold brew

I use 11 grams of coffee to make one 8oz cup of moka pot coffee

Ppl at work always think im completely angry or sad or something. But im just ready to curve bullshit and get things done.



I'm like so the opposite. Uppers make me so emotional, i can obsess over a facial expresion or a cough from one of my coworkers, was that aimed at me? Do they hate me? Are they organizing against my interests? Should I confront them?

Staying relaxed makes my mind tolerable. I become impenetrable like Jason Vorhees, or Cher from clueless. Even if it's a serious situation I know I'm at my best when I'm calm. Kind of like Jeff Labowski, how he just chills and the clues he needs sort of just show up. Or bugs bunny, he don't get worked up, he handles situations one thought at a time and always comes out on top. Contrast that with daffy duck, thats who i"m like on adderall, i'm like daffy duck bouncing around making noise.

Love all energy drinks.

Defenitely major habit forming for me. I try and use em for occasions that I really need it. I dont drink coffee so they really wake me the fuck up :grin:

Ha, maybe that is what happened to Trump. Everybody thinks he is spray tanning, but really he has a system failure caused by Red Bull. That might explain a few of his other behaviors too.

Yeah I get that.  Like carbonated watered down Robotussin.  IMO.  To each their own.  I use to drink chug a bottle of that shit long ago.  After taking l.s.d. the day before just to see the difference.  Yes, just dumb and doing some reasearch years ago, and I felt, how to explain it, like it was something going through my brain and body that was like sludge compared to acid and juse feeling sharp and fine.
