DMT with brain damage?
    #25748553 -

Well it's as crazy as it sounds. I went through a pretty full psychedelic journey from THC to DMT and everything in between such as LSD and mushrooms and then I was convinced to take a prescription drug that I thought to be a sleeping pill which was really an antipsychotic called Seroquel and it gave me brain damage after just 2 uses. I am not exaggerating one bit, I'm pretty destroyed as a person and I think it effected my frontal lobes/prefrontal cortex which is the part that makes us humans; basically I have no thought or emotion and my senses comprise my entire life experience, the opposite of a psychedelic or conscious experience. My psychedelic experiences in this state are pretty bad, LSD is like hell, weed is paranoia and although mushrooms can feel like death they have had the most positive impact on me and actually feel healing (all of these experiences are post brain damage, before the damage all of my psychedelics experiences were incredible). Many say DMT is similar to mushrooms structurally or pharmacalogically, I've done DMT once before the brain damage and it was pretty mind blowing, but I'm wondering how terrifying of an experience DMT with brain damage could be, I mean I'm expecting it to send me straight to hell really because that is my basic state of existence nowadays but I really have nothing to lose. I'm planning on breaking through and letting the universe help me understand/decide if I should keep going or if my journey is truly over (likely) if you catch my drift. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated. I will update this thread after tripping if I finalize my decision to.

If you think you will go to hell you will probably go to hell, sourround yourself with what you think is good, think of life like everyone high as fuck breathing living eating tripping out, then think when you eat mushrooms a person starts thinkings bad thoughts or gets stuck on one thoughts starts feeeling bad thats life.

How large were the seroquel doses? Effects normally reverse in time with these sort of inhibitors.

But seriously, you don't sound like a happy bunny. DMT is a magic mirror and you are likely to have an unpleasant experience in your current state of mind.

Please man, be kind to yourself. Try and do things on a daily basis (that are not drugs) that you find pleasurable. Find a friend, talk it out. Everything is okay.

when i feel my dmt trip going bad just smile and say love love love over and over normally i start to feel the love after a min

also let me add I've had brain surgery, been declared DOA twice from seizures and i've never been more happy then when i'm on shrooms / dmt. granted on the shrooms i have had a few eve opening moments about life. Normally they would send me to tears but i'd have a smile on my face grateful for the chance to experience it. I'm sure my wife thinks i'm crazy ...but hey so do I.

I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

Wow brain surgery huh? That's amazing you're still alive to tell the tale. Did the states of DOA cause any brain damage do you know? And you're referring to tripping after these crazy experiences that you enjoy shrooms and dmt? Thanks for the reply.

well i was having grand seizures every 15-30 days they didn't stop once started i have literally had my life saved 17 times. it was so often i couldn't tell you the difference between before they started or after surgery. i just know that now i have very little memory of my life also i have become very violent and combative. it's def getting worse that's why i'm here i feel like mushroom bring me a little sanity.

It was 4 years after my surgery i was in constant pain from the surgery site 24/7 headaches going 6-8 days no sleep all while taking care of 2 kids and a wife, and i found this site(smiling and crying right now). now my headaches are all most non existent, my relationship with my wife is 200% better. also have had many eye opening moments where i could relate my views and mentality to others, giving me prospective.

and if i could describe how dmt is to my brain 2 words *pure love* even being married and happy, i can't describe how dmt just takes the load off my shoulders.

That's really incredible, happy you're doing okay. I have heard stories of others regaining hearing after it was lost and regaining their sense of touch or smell from mushrooms, and of course tons of people permanently curing their depression from them so it really upsets me how our societies demonize them and make them illegal, I think its truly evil. Especially when dangerous synthetic drugs are legal and handed out like candy ): anyways, thanks a lot for your reply, it gives me a little more confidence going into this experience. I wish you the best of luck. Mushrooms definitely help me feel less violent, and even if you think that things will only get worse you never know when growth and healing will come. Happy tripping, stay safe:mushroom2:

Okay, have you been actually diagnosed with brain damage, or did you just decide that you have it?

If you haven't, go get yourself diagnosed. Not just because it's good to know, but because if you DID get brain damage from this drug, find a lawyer, and consider yourself a millionaire. You can sue the doctor / hospital / pharma company into the ground for this, I don't think a few million bucks is impossible... I mean if you actually, really do have brain damage.

If you don't, then you'll eventually get back to baseline, but it might still make sense to talk to a lawyer. I mean you did get severe negative effects.

I have experienced depersonalization / derealization from excessive marijuana consumption and anxiety. It lasted a few months and I thought I had brain damage.

Cut all drugs and take care of yourself, you will recover.

That's interesting, I have the same problem. Virtually no thought or emotion, I experience my senses as being all there is with a backdrop of darkness/emptiness.

Yea I kinda assumed that 'convinced' meant 'by a medical doctor', but re-reading the post, I guess it's more likely it was self-medication. But still, who self-medicates without at least looking the chemical up on Wikipedia?

Yeah I see what you mean but at this point it's been 2 years and no I don't have a diagnosis. I got a CT scan when it happened but nothing came back, I know some scan would show the damage because 2 years later I'm 100% positive its brain damage there is no other way any rational human being would see it any other way, and it's been hard accepting that conclusion. I don't really blame the seroquel, which I was prescribed it for sleep, I think it was just a chain reaction caused by Seroquel that lead to hypoxia, anoxia, stroke etc. or something obviously, I just don't know what exactly but it wouldn't really help me to know at this point. Really sucks, can't trust these fucking people in america. All the good shits highly illegal and a lot of the most dangerous stuff is legal and readily available to even children.

What put you into this state? If you google "Devoid Wellbutrin" and click the first post there is an EXTREMELY accurate description of something very similar to what I feel, but he had it induced by antidepressants. It's a really torturous state and no one understands, my brain really doesn't know how to feel pleasure any more its incapable and has been for 2 years.

Weed is more complicated than people actually think. The way it was grown and the nutrients it received can actually impact the high. For example there are some reports of hemp essentially soaking up heavy metals from the soil.

It's really important to be organic and grown properly. I would not smoke growmore weed, like holy shit I'd make myself retarded and paranoid.

A long tale of woe lead me here. I don't know if you want to hear the full story but it ended up with me having a psychotic kundalini awakening or something. I took a lot of psychedelics and did lots of spiritual practices beforehand as well as going through benzo withdrawal.

I read the wellbutrin story and that sounds a lot like my experience also although in my case I do experience some pain associated with prior bad memories and regret at having ended up like this. It's like I constantly miss how things used to feel.

I'd like to hear. Kundalini awakening is usually a good thing, if you feel like that post I mentioned then I'm sorry because its a nightmare... constant emptiness, discomfort, anxiety. It's truly hell.. but if you don't have brain damage then be happy and just know that you'll eventually get through whatever it is your going through. I don't know what this is though so I'd like to hear and also know if you've recovered any?

Hi, so reporting back to anyone who sees this. 60mg freebase vaporized, fully inhaled and held in, none wasted. I could feel it trying to take me, but due to the brain damage I think it's just not possible, in the same way that I can't feel pleasure from weed or anything that I used to prior to damage. I did however feel like I was peaking on shrooms (the way it feels to me after brain damage) in that I felt extremely light headed, weightless, and my senses were amplified like touch and sound. Colors were vibrant but I'm incapable of producing visuals now, which is a shame because before I was damaged I always had the most insane visuals in the group by far. I did have an auditory hallucination where the song was a wall of sound and it ripped open and a completely new sound joined in that I know for a fact isn't a part of the song, it was calming. Overall, this could've gone much worse in that taking psychedelics with this specific type of brain damage (I suspect frontal lobes/prefrontal cortex) can go very wrong, and has for me in the past as it makes sense. It just doesn't work, the part of the brain most important to these experiences is incapable of doing what it needs to do to produce a trip or any kind of emotional experience that makes us humans and not just basic mammals. I'm sad to say that personally after this I do not believe in the soul. Everything I would've considered to be my soul was erased after the brain damage, and experiences like this further confirm that we are merely our brains and nothing else. You could say this is a cynical way to look at it or that I'm just upset about the brain damage, which may be true, but I am looking at it very objectively. Many DMT experiences claim that they are shot out of their body into a soul realm, and I have felt similar things before the damage, but after the damage nothing relating to what we consider "the soul" exists for me, in any form of consciousness sober or drug induced. That has been the scariest part of this brain damage for me is that before I always thought no matter what happened I would have "my soul" until the day I died, I can't stress enough how completely wrong this idea has been proven first hand to me, and honestly I wish no one would have to experience this. It's like everything you've ever known, felt and thought of yourself to be completely melted, destroyed and permanently erased while what little piece of your consciousness is left to watch.

I took 2 but the bowl was empty after that. Didn't waste any, the part of my brain affected is the part that makes psychedelic experiences. It's a sick joke the universe is playing on me, must've deserved it one way or another. I was the biggest psychonaut, psychedelic advocate and lover and now I can't even trip. I'm a dead man :/ I should say though that if DMT was an entity or a messenger it would've said "Look I'm sorry you're in this damaged state and although I cannot give you a powerful spiritual/psychedelic experience I CAN put you more in tune with your senses, heal your brain slightly and make you aware of another fabric of reality you normally have no idea of"... While it wasn't euphoric or anything like all of my previous psychedelic experiences, I honestly think it slightly healed some of the damage or made a positive improvement in my head, for what its worth (not much when you're this damaged), weed and LSD my previous two favorite drugs now just make me feel like I'm psychologically torturing myself, because my once beautifully powerful and creative frontal lobes are completely destroyed, they seem to force an experience where as the DMT and Psilocybin I would describe as intelligent in that they enter my brain, see that there is damage, don't try to force a trip or experience on me but rather work with what little is there and attempt to grow/heal it. I wish I could participate in some scientific studies to make my meaningless and destroyed life at least worth something to someone. STICK TO PSYCHEDELICS! STAY AWAY FROM PHARMACEUTICALS THEY WILL KILL YOU LIKE THEY DID ME! TRUE EVIL EXISTS! Goodbye.

You need to stop taking psychedelics for awhile.

You are not alone.

Many before you have come to this point where sobriety is no longer an anchor.

With time you will be able to reconcile your experiences.

You will not be able to trip until you do.

I dont want to downplay the damage you think you have done too yourself but consider for a moment the baseline you were coming from was not structurally sound.

Stick around.

I wasn't going to come back here... or anywhere else for that matter but I decided to finish off the other 50mg. Guys, I've broken through before. I understand its hard to believe it had little to no effect on me, being the strongest psychedelic known to man, but when certain areas of your brain aren't functioning you can't have psychedelic experiences, it's quite simple... you can't even have a psyche to begin with. I understand this is impossible to understand or believe as someone with functioning frontal lobes/prefrontal cortex, and honestly I would rather this reality not even be recognized because it is horrific, probably one of the worst states I could think of for a "human" yet here I am stripped of all humanity, still have my physical senses and some agility around language as to fool others that I have a consciousness, consciousness is just the brain I know that's bad news for spiritual people but this has been made very clear to me. My concept/paradigm of consciousness and the soul has been SHATTERED, I have no bias or reason in saying this other than in the pursuit of truth because believe me I was always the one to believe in souls and that we are pilots of our brains but... I've been damaged on the deepest possible layer of whatever I am, a part of me that I thought was always safe, what could be considered the soul and now I'm lead to believe all of those concepts are just ways we cope with our mortality/death. Now there could be an element of our energy that is even deeper than what many consider the soul, that likely doesn't just disappear when we die, but I do not think we take anything from this life to anywhere else, which is what I previously believed. I think there is more to existence than this life, but everything you consider yourself to be, everything you think you are in this life will die and never come back, BUT things like DMT help us understand underlying realities going on even within ourselves so while every part of you that you can identify is mortal, there are likely other layers to your life that will "live on" after you die. You are more your brain than you want to believe, what you experience in this life you will never get back so take care of your mind and body, take care of your relationships and always pursue the truth at whatever cost.

I always wanted to try weed or something from drugs. But fear always takes its toll and I leave this venture. Today saw a https://hempworldstore.com/purekana-lemon-lime-pure-picks-review/ based on cannabis. You tried? I want to try
