Shroom identification please - noob :)

Hi all,
This sounds silly.. because it is.. well I was an eager beaver and inoculated some BRF cakes with a few different types of Cubensis mushroom (not in each cake, don’t worry). Anyway, colonisation went well and all was good until I needed to dunk and roll the cakes. Now, I didn’t have 4 large spare pots and pans etc to soak each type of shroom cake independently, so naively thought.. “what the hell, I’ll just soak em all together, put them in the SGFC then identify which type they are once they’re grown.
Fantastic. Except I’m a noob (as you can tell), and my lovely mushrooms are fruiting and I can’t tell who is who and what is what. There’s 4 possible shrooms in here; Amazonian, Golden Teacher, Ecuadorean and Mazatapec.
Here’s two pictures of my juicy Boi who needs identifying please:
And here’s a different cake, also needing id’ing
Cake number 3- sorry the photos not ideal. The pins still young, and at an awkward angle:
Cake number 4 - again, they’re young and photos not great
I have some more mixed up cakes which are yet to pin, and when they do will also need id’ing. What a mess of this I’ve made!
I need an ultimate cubensis ID poster or something lol.
Until then, any help is appreciated. Thank you x

All 4 of those are virtually the same kind of shroom. There won't be much difference so it doesn't matter what kind they are.

They're cubensis. The name someone printed on a syringe you'll never be able to tell by looking at the mushrooms

About the only one you 'may' have a shot at identifying from the others when they mature is the GT but they're all going to look pretty similar.

So there is no way to tell Amazonian, Ecuadorean, Golden Teacher or Mazatapects apart?
Eek.. It's important for me as i have a couple people wanting particular strains for different purposes.

They won't be able to tell either...trust me. If you only grew one "strain" every jar would have slightly different fruit. Even variation within one jar. Sorry, just the way it is!

The point is that there really isn't a difference between these. They're not strains, they're varieties of the same thing. A cube is a cube (except for PE)

There's no way to tell them apart. Just mislabel them for your friends because it doesn't matter. It's not like weed they're all the same.
There's infinity possible strains of any variety. Some good some bad. You can grow shit GT and great GT from the exact same syringe

I've tried this with friends and from my experience they can be pretty hard headed. A friend of mine won't even eat my cubes because he doesn't know the name of them (random strain from a friend). But he will eat his "Star Gazers" all day. I've never even heard of "Star Gazers," but whatever. It's still worth a try to educate people. Just beware that a lot of people will think they know more because they read a description on a bullshit spore vendor site than you do when you actually grow them.

I blame artesanal culture. I saw artisan water the other day...
And yeah, I always start out talking about how they're p. cubensis mushrooms, then I geek out to them a little about the variety (ie: "These are cubensis mushrooms, which are the most common "magic" kind, and they're from cambodia and you can see the rich brown colors... blah blah blah). This usually works well for people.

Yes because mixing two 'strains' (i.e. varieties) is like mixing two shrooms from a MS grow of the same variety which is what we all do all the time when we eat shrooms. But also you could mix different species and you'd still be fine too.

Every mushroom on your cake is made up of many strains and ones next to each other have different strains than their neighbors. If you grow from spores there's 100s of strains in a single grow.
Spores can't tell each other apart as far as spores care the name on a syringe is absolutely irrelevant. They only can tell they're the same species. They'll mate with each other no problem.
