  I've got 7-15-88 which starts out with a Shakedown, Walking blues and then a wonderful Friend of the Devil! I'm likin this show so far.......

Well it's sunday evening (7:20pm) but I'm listening to Dick's Picks 14 (not sure where or when.. I think '73 but maybe I'm wrong). Very nice Playin' in the Band right now!

im listening to some friends of mines new album , a hip hop\ragga group called tungtvann. its pretty cool if you understand norwegian :smile:
but its not my fav music but its pretty cool that they have succsess (big in norway) since i grew up with these folks :smile: i prolly gonna play some yes after hearing this album

Tungtvann, you say? I'll have to check them out...Have you heard the group Kings of Convienence, Shriek? Really nice norwegian band - sortof Simon and Garfunkel-ish.

i havent heard much pen jakke but i like gatas parlament mostly because they have great lyrics, i like their political view

Common, Eric Sermon, and the Youngblood Brass Band (with special guests Spektakal :grin: )will be playing in Bergen in 2 weeks as a part of the Ole Blues festival. Unfortunately I have a stupid exam on that same day and don't think I'll be able to catch the boat in time... but it should be a really nice show!

I just burned "77-05-08", nice show, its been a while since I heard Grateful Dead, refreshing to hear them again now.  I have a friend who is a heavy grateful dead fan here at my dorms... (very rare here in norway), we are sitting here listening to 77-05-08. :gd_icon:

damn!  That sounds like a good show.  Spetakkel are great.  I liked them a bit more before they got as commercial as they are now, but they are still good.  I know people who know them and one friend who is cousin with one of them from Spetakkel.  Gatas Parliament have great political lyrics!  Have you heard the newest one, or seen the video where bush is killing people and stealing oil...etc...

Edit: what about Klovner I Kamp?  And the warlocks?  I like TP productions... TOmmy Tee and those rappers (warlocks) are the best here in Norway IMO, real underground talent there.  YOu know the warlocks are pretty big in the us, especially at the east coast.
