What are some health concerns you have acquired from researching mushrooms? Pros, cons.

Anyone have information regarding the use of mushrooms and the effects it can have on the body? Yes sounds pretty simple but i want to know the "bad" things that it can do to your body after repeated maybe chronic use. Also things that can affect it in a "good" way.
I want to see it as a health scientific way if that makes sense. only answers aquired from known science, labs, or research. Please thnx

the longer to do researh there will be a time you will get very ill. its part of growing anything, with long term use will over toxic the liver and cause kidney to start not processing sugars as will. but as long as you dont bread mutant small pocks in your mono tube you should be fine and no one will know. until your skin looks like this

Psilocybin mushrooms are non toxic buddy. The only damage there's going to be is to your psyche once you've realized that you've been living your life the wrong way.
You won't find studies showing massive damage to your body if that's what you're looking for.

There were a huge amount of scientific studies done in the 60s that all confirmed enormously positive psychological and creative benefits from using psychedelics.
There are also several modern studies that have been conducted, and all of them have reported that psychedelics have very positive influences on people.

If IFLS is saying mushrooms are good for you, that is truly saying something.
They are about as anti-pot as you can get..for some reason..

I was just wondering the same thing! But I was also wondering about the long term implications of semi regular LSD use. And mescaline too. Fascinating to hear long term effects of psilocybin are actually beneficial.

You can bet your best guess that they are just as beneficial. They all do somewhat the same thing to the brain, albeit LSD and mescaline also agonize dopamine in the brain, not just serotonin. Mushrooms lacks any real dopamine release..
so in that sense, you could say LSD and mescaline would produce a much, much more spiritual experience.

Psilocybe Mushrooms and their active compounds have been shown in controlled settings even at extreme dosages to be entirely physically safe. the question is to the psychological effects on those who cant handle themselves on mushies in other words theyre physically as safe as pot unless youre a child in which case they cause high fever and death

only problem I have ever had from shrooms was drying a ton of them in a small poorly ventilated room, you could feel the spores in your lungs and I felt my breathing become strange.

I never have had one health concern from mushrooms. They've been a bright light throughout my whole life in many different ways.
I have actually had a few health concerns "One actual health problem, but lots of concern afterwards lol" after growing weed for a long time though. Random pathogenic bacteria are very real things when you don't understand what you're doing completely working with soil/homemade microbial inoculates lol.

Shrooms themselves aren't going to hurt you. If you pick wild, the concern needs to be parasites. There are some nasty worms out there.
