Horse
    #2573560 - 04/18/04 12:27 PM (14 years, 1 month ago)

What do you pals reckon a horse goes for on the market? I need the type to take me on a adventure of great distance, lone rider style...ya dig?

Just me the horse and my samuri sword across the great land.

you could always hunt down a horse or a zebra and tame it

zebra gives a much more "im a bad mot*****" look when you ride there with your sword.

Heh, sounds like a cool story. Once I was supposed to write a plot for my friends who were drawing manga comics in that lone rider style.

Anyhow, I have two suggestions what a horse might be after:
1. Carrots
2. Love (cliche classic... but not so cliche with the horse looking for love, lol)

Does the horse talk or something in your story, what makes the horse want to go search for something at a market (oposed to the warrior)?

If the warrior goes in search of something it revenge, love and honor are good eliments, but hey, the horse could also go for things like that. Imagination has no bounderies.

Having a horse is a great idea. Economical, pollution free transportation, & a good source of substrate.
Happy trails

I meant how much gold is demanded in exchange for a healthy horse? But interesting words none the less

How about... to make it extra interesting.. the warrior goes in search for a horse, he asks the clerk what he'll take for the horse, the clerk realizes the warrior is a warrior (because of the sword and what not) and says the warrior can have the best horse for free but in return for a favour, a mission... something like that?

Not all car exhaust is created equally. What about those whose only byproduct is water?

I'd much rather a character riding a motorbike powered by a hydrogen fuel cell than a rank horse at a low, and unsustained, maximum rate of speed which needs frequent breaks. Plus, they fart.

My sister rides competitively for her university... horses can be DAMN expensive!!! But you can probably find a half-lame one to suit your purposes for cheap... just stand outside the glue factory and try to outbid them...

I have a few horses and my GF has one. You are looking at 900 bucks to 9 million bucks depending on type/age/breeding history etc.
