What a time to be alive indeed. There's a globalist agenda for a one world government and we have geniuses like David Keath trying to geoengineer our planet by blocking out the sun with stratospheric injections of different nano particulates.
Sorry I couldn't hp myself. Lol
Stay on topic. Lol. Check this shit out. So this prick had super ariel growth. And it was almost starting to matte. So there wasn't many spots for pins to form. Some but not many. So I threw another quarter inch top layer on it. Well this is what that shit looks like now
.
Eh, can't do anything about either problems so I'll grow mushrooms and focus on myself instead. Surely nothing bad will happen if I stick my head in the sand!
On topic, so the shrooms didn't grow through the new layer but grew around from the sides? Those are some wonky ass shrooms. Some of mine are growing upside down for some reason...

I ended up breaking my substrate in half when flipping one of my shoeboxes.. also while I was taking a picture of the novelty grow it fell off the stove top... I’m starting to think maybe I shouldn’t be harvesting this early in the morning lol.
Lol...I'm running my PC right now. Last time I ran it this early I burnt a patch of skin right off my arm. Yup, early morning mycology is dangerous!
Hahaha! Ouch man. Hope it healed alright.
I’ve been kinda clumsy today lol. Shit happens though.

I wish I had a timelapse camera, it would make some cool footage. I'll trust your experienced advice and stop fanning to see what happens. My reasoning was that I needed to get rid of the excess moisture to save my dark pins. Either the reduced misting did it or the fanning worked (kinda leaning on the misting now that I think about it). I hate being a noob, why can't I just absorb all required knowledge through reading...

A few pushed there way up through the 2nd top layer. I'm kinda curious how this 2nd top layer is gonna form primordia now.
Nice upside down fruit. I've seen all kinds of interesting growth. Actually had a fully formed mushroom grow right off the cap of another fully formed fruit. Was pretty neat actually

Likely the combination, now dial it back to equilibrium

Hey mush cult! It's been 6 months since a friend gave me a spore print and I started this crazy journey. So, in honor of that I'm doing a giveaway (US only sorry) of prints from my best flush so far:

I have 6 PE6 prints to send. Just pm me with your addy and I'll send them out as soon as all 6 have been claimed.
This is, of course, only for microscopy purposes.

Will do, thanks for the tips. Also are the white dots on some of my fruits natural and ok? Makes them look like fly agaric

Mycelial growth... Sign of insufficient FAE with mature fruit, but pretty typical for pins and baby mush

I'm so paranoid of losing everything so close to the finish line, but I'm sure it's fine. All fine.

The white spots are torn remnants of the universal veil. It's more ephemeral than that of an Amanita, but it's the same thing.
Here's my best pics of universal veils on cubes.

It seems. To colonize pretty nor.mal. But I wanna say the 22nd of December is when I spawned the tubs.
These I spawned on the the 2nd of January
 more ms peu
Latley I've been going a little heavier on the top layer with these more aggressive cultures. Probably close to a half inch psudo casing layer.
