It looks a lot like it but the stem is pretty long. I will get a spore print when I get home. I don't see any bruising.

Okay I also found these. I assume they are Psathyrella as well.
Hamra I notice you post "no. Looks nothing like it" on a lot of threads. I understand it is frustrating to watch beginners make mistakes, but please understand that everyone has to start somewhere.

I believe his comments suggest a newer hunter should at least do a tiny bit of research on their own. 5 min interwebbing and you would know they weren’t Allenii.

I've done quite a bit more than 5 min on the Interwebs. My mistake, I thought it looked similar enough to make an ID request.

Funny story, I actually have found a Psilocybe mushroom once in my life. It was my first mushroom trip, and I was in eighth grade. My friend found a mushroom and handed it to me, because he knew I was interested in mushrooms, and I has read that psychedelic mushrooms bruised blue, and this one had turned blue so I ate it and had a nice time lol. I was a child. I actually used a scalpel to cut it open and grew the mycelium on cardboard, but then it died. I got into mushroom hunting again recently. My area of expertise was always Amanita muscaria, because those were the easiest for me to find.

Be advised that not all blue bruising mushrooms are safe to eat, some are quite toxic.

Yes, I'm aware of that now as an adult. Keep in mind I was thirteen when I ate this mushroom. But I also knew the difference between a poisonous bolete and something else.
