LOL, I really like this. Nice work DQ.

I've put an awful lot of mileage on mine in the time I've inhabited it, and boy, fuck me, have I had some fucking good times with it. Like full on ecstacyheavenbliss shit.

But, it don't work as good as it used to, and that's a fucker to deal with. Coupled with the tendency of this constantly spinning, confusing wheel of a mind that I have to listen to in my every waking minute, and which has a tendency to drive me to complete and utter hopelessness, misery and despair at times, I'd say, all in all, the experience is a pretty mixed bag.

Would I ask for it, had I it not?

Most days, I'd say no.

But some days, there's nothing I could ever want more.

I'm working hard on finding the magical recipe/secret/balance that makes most days feel like the latter, rather than the former.

And I tell you what, I'll do it, even if it damn well kills me.

Like being a vessel with various segments producing their own experience while it's all together entwined.

A vessel full of pulses I'd say.

Pulses that take time to recognise, and sometimes to overcome.

Pulses that lead me in different directions.

Sometimes no discernible pulses, and directions as smooth and direct as the arrow flies.
Sometimes like a rock rolling down a hill.
Sometimes like swimming across a lake.

This line made me think of Sisyphus.

I feel, far more often than not now that I'm no longer a child, that a lot of my life is dedicated to pushing a fucking big rock up a fucking steep hill.

It was recently brought to my attention by a spiritual being I refer to as my father and he allowed me to understand how important my vessel is not only to me and my quest but for him as well being that much time has been invested in me, guiding to be the promoter I will become. Lost weight. Eat clean. Whole lotta water. No fast food or soda. Waking up early to have productive days. Destroying my addictions 1 at a time, with his help. I now have a mother spirit too helping me make wise choices. The future is looking fucking bright my dudes. 👌👌👌

Goat liver is nasty.  It's the only meat I've tried to cook, liver actually looks like the nasty carnage that I can ignore other meat being.

We are not a 'ghost that inhabits a machine.' :lol: We are a psycho-spiritual-somatic triunity, at least according to the alchemist Paracelsus, Indian alchemy, and a number of other traditions including Kabbalistic Judaism and Christian theology. So, identifying as some awareness that possesses a body indicates some intrinsic alienation that exceeds mere Cartesian dualism. I don't expect that most people go about in a non-dualistic condition, Sat Chit Ananda for example. I am not there. I have however gotten a lot more comfortable in my own skin in recent years, and that does not mean I do not care about my bodily form and have a pot belly and yellow teeth! On the contrary, my BMI is pretty good, my muscle tone and strength is better now than when I was in my 30s and I'm going to turn 66 next summer.

My sexual desire and performance has waned considerably but then again, even though my wife is still attractive to me, after 22 years of togetherness, we've been there and done that. Fortunately, we were never primarily 2nd chakra beings. I do not chase other women. Our Centers have been Realized on higher levels, and we require less sex, less food, less novelty from external stimulation including social interactions, and no discernible social status needs. Miami is rife with luxury cars for example, but we drive old Mazdas even though we could afford status vehicles. The same could be said for our modest home and neighborhood. I cannot control my time of death, but I value longevity.

My Great Uncle Herman lived to 106 and got around, even took limos and planes by himself at 103. He was alive when Orville & Wilber made their first flight and he saw men land on the moon. He  remembered the Titanic. He spoke with Leon Trotsky prior to the 1917 Russian Revolution, saw World War I, women's right to vote, the 'rise and fall of the Third Reich,' the end of the USSR, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, the Berlin Wall come down. His lifetime was a stone trip! I am hopeful that my life won't end in some Orwellian dystopia. I want to outlive Trump and his ilk, and my ex-wife. Petty? Perhaps. But I'm in it for the long haul and all my 'parts' need to stay in balance.

my experience has been that my body is nice to have a conversation with. 
i can have a full on conversation with my body, it as an entity that's totally separate from myself.

if the eyes are open the mind becomes the driver of the body

when the eyes are closed, the spirit becomes the driver of the body.

i think it's a masterful skill, to be able to move around with your eyes open, and still have the spirit move the body.

i bet frankenstein's monster couldn't move with his eyes closed.

and why should my body end at the borders of the pen skin?

it's the 3d skin border boundary, but we can make out bodies so much larger than this!

yes, and a feeling like I was being pulled upward at a phenomenal rate of speed.

those blue things feel more like family than my own family here, maybe it's all a delusion though.
