All I have seen are links that line the pockets of those that are in on the scam

Because there have been 198 publications across a myriad of different journals by different laboratories in different countries.

The first publication was in "Science," which is the single most important and reputable scientific journal there is (along with "Nature").

If peer reviewed publications in the most highly regarded scientific aren't convincing, you might question what type of evidence would convince you.

Sure thing, but all the dedicated processing should be traceable to what and where it went to, in the same way all crypto mining is traceable if the one running it is privy to it. If there were a big scam with folding at home, I'd imagine it's from people using 3rd party software rather than anything coming from the team responsible for it in it's current state. If the latter were the case, someone would have discovered it by now and made a larger stink about it.
