So is there a way to fumigate fresh mushrooms such that they remain safe to eat afterwards?  Can you smioke the bugs out?

I’ve never had a trip off of dried mushrooms that was as good as my best fresh mushroom tripa

I don't think the bugs will do you any harm, but I don't like the thought of eating them, so I make tea and filter it through a coffee filter. If there's any loss in potency, I don't notice it.

Aww those are so cute:ooo: i could spend all night watching them do their chores.
Ugh tape worms... i think that just saved a few kids that didnt even think about that i didnt:facepalm:

Pasturizing kills tapeworm eggs right? Theyre not like round worm eggs are they?

They are collecting spores, but it appears that they are also collecting small amounts of mushroom tissue and rolling it into balls.

Pasteurization is not necessary to remove tapeworm eggs or larvae from mushrooms, a simple thorough washing is enough since the eggs and larvae will only be on the outside of the mushrooms, tapeworms do not grow inside of mushrooms.
