I placed wet wild oysters in the fridge and they froze solid, are they ruined? I'm under the impression that they are to be processed and certain way before freezing them.

I'd check the settings of your refrigerator, nothing should freeze in there, it should be between 37 to 41°f

Either way, I think they should be fine to cook:thumbup:

I would keep them frozen and use as soon as possible. Don't know how many you have, but they will be good for some time to come.

I have about 7-8 kilos, I had the fridge packed up during the Holidays and forgot to turn the thermostat back up. Thank you to everyone that responded.
