Depending on the material type/relative warmth
would consider the Giants one to be roughly a beanie, provided it is a light single-layer cotton
if it is a heavier cotton or has a second layer of lining inside, would consider it a toque
if it is that ridiculous acrylic material that does not breathe and makes me head sweat, would not consider it good for anything
my favourite hemp beanie is exactly that size and cut, but flat black

Would consider the other two examples of toques -- they look like they are intended for warmth/protection from the elements
