He had cancer on his brainstem thats all i know. He always led on like he was fine but when I always visited I knew he was fucked he cant walk had no balance and just looked fucked but he always told me not to worry, I dound medical files, I have not resd them but if they gave him a time framw ans he didnt tell me then its foing to rip me apart more than I already am. Damn it dad! You had me thinking you beat it! I knew you didnt want me to worry but I did anyway and you would never tell me if I would have known I would have been therr every day helping with every littlr thing fuck! :'(

Stay hydrated and eat healthy food. Over time grief will make your body hurt, treat it with water and good food, and don’t forget to brush your teeth every morning and befor bed. I find that after chaos, focusing on staying physically healthy and keeping order is an amazing coping mechanism. Take care of your self every morning and then focus on taking on the day.

I found out it was heart attack he died alone in the bathroom. Today is not better I cant get fucked up no matter what or how much I take all I feel is pain :'(

Hang in there, time will heal the wound, but you have to work through the pain. The grieving process can take up to 1 year and sometimes (seldom) up to 2. :heart:

Thank you I'm trying....a fee months agonhe told me of a book he was going to write, a biography of sortd and I just fucking found it im so happy and sad I hav not read it yet I'm going to drink again for tonight I already had to deal with enough technical bullshit today I just want to welcome oblivion with open arms :'(

I have been forba lonf time I you dont knowing story and it does not matter anyway. I am strong im not going to lose my shit and kill myself or Rob a bank or some shit, I'm just going to sit and bleed . my life was shit. Brother it will happen to all of us one day. Death is shitty. There's nothing good about it. But you gotta look after yourself !

It is natural to feel.terrible in a time like this. And sometimes it's healthy to cry and let it out. Just try to remember that in time it will pass and it won't sting as much. My dad died 10 years or so ago and I was the same, and now things are better. :smile:

Hang in there. I used to rationalise what I went through in saying "well I get to live". He's dead now and didn't have that same opportunity sadly. Gotta keep going!

It helps to stay active. Try to distract yourself with stuff. It's obviously not good to just sit and get dark if you know what I mean. I would save that for at night when i sleep and try to stay busy in the day and just do your best to tread water as it passes

My dad died of a brain tumour. People thought he was drunk some of the time and that made me furious. It was just the condition. Everyone looks back like " man I should have known " , " we could've done something " , but you can't think lile that. You did the best you could with what you had at the time and so don't think that way. We can only change the future not the past :cool:

My dad had tumor on brainstem and diabetes and come to find outnhe stopped all medical shit like a year ago. What the fuck did they give him estimated time to live and he just said fuck it ill eat what i want? And I know man but i cant help it I want to go watch football with my dad and give him a hug....

Yeah that's one of the things I missed the most too. Just being able to sit down with him, watch a game sip a beer and talk shit. Also his guidance too. But that's life my dude. It's a harsh reality but people die and these things happen to everyone. Have to appreciate your own life and the lives of other people in your life. It sounds cliche,  but you only get one. So are we going to sit and wallow for the rest of the days or are we going to pick up the pieces and get on with it? The decision is yours. But know that you will bounce back from this and grow from it and life will go on if you let it <3
