My parents got suckered into buying one of those sets of Encyclopedia Britannica. I remember pouring through them to do school reports. I even used the fat bibliography tome that came with them.

In the future kids won't know what books were. Hell, everyone will have chips in their heads.  They speculate when that happens the people with PhDs now will be scrubbing their toilets.

Nothing is made for lazy people.

Typing some shit out requires a tiny amount of work. There used to be days when you had to get up and go to a library and search through fucktons of books. I'd much rather search a search engine than a library.

Unfortunately I have to revisit this thread. I have 12 jars colonizing all looking good at various stages. Four were fully colonized so I skook them up to transfer to zip lock twist top quart containers to do invitro clone tests.

When I opened them they each had the same citrus smell. When I shook the jars a week ago each gave off a nice mushroom smell.  I did everything by the book. WTF?

In searching I found a couple of threads referring to Sour Apple, Wine and Old Gym Sock smells.

One thread suggested Wet Spot; Sour Rot - Bacillus sp. but my grains are on the dry side with no moisture build up.
