U remember my cake that had the fluffy white spot well after 2 weeks in a sgfc and 3 weeks in a bag i still had no pins. I mashed it up with some coir and this is what w3 have If its not contaminated id be very surprised. Iv had this cake since early october

It might have some bacteria, but looks healthy enough, mycelium is practically mold proof when its healthy, which is why you can spawn in open air..So what have you been doing with it? It should be in a tub with a lid that can be cracked to keep it humid, but allow evaporation..plus mist it once in a while
No that picture is normal, mycelium isn't perfectly smooth

While ur here i need some advice.
 These are my latest cakes, as u see theyre in mini jam jars, they will have been consolidated in 2 days. How should i fruit them?

It's going to be tricky..as it looks like the necks are thinner than they middles? You'd have to dig them out or cut them up inside

Could they not stay in the jars under the top half of a bottle and fruit up and out the neck

Yup that's probably a good option, but you'd usually get less fruits than if you birthed it, or crumbled it..but give it a try, that's how you learn things in this hobby
