Hello, what are the best alternatives to lsd for watching movies ? (with the same effects, like you are "in" the movie)

I've had that experience on very high doses of ambien. I don't get it on shrooms or other psychedelics.

I actually get a weird tone from technology on a trip, never liked TV on trips.

I guess it wouldn't "take you in" like classic psychedelics but IMHO only substance I would be finding myself sitting in front of the TV or even get bored by is 2-CB, you could give that a try...

Not sure about this whole movie thing, but I've recently been looking into 1p-lsd which I've read and confirmed that it has identical effects to lsd.

Maybe OP means alternative as in not lsd/lsd analogue and if that's the case nothing really compares to lsd or its analogues. I sometimes enjoy watching movies or playing video games on low dose 4aco or heavy dose of mushrooms

Anyway, back to the opening question. WHY?

Why would they want an 'alternative' to LSD? They can't get their hands on any? Well if someone can't get any good old LSD, how high are the chances that they will be able to score 2C-B, ALD25 or 1p-LSD? I'd say close to none. (I can get more LSD than I'd like and I can't score any 2C-B for shit. Two years back the black market was awash with it, and now it's gone completely.)

And besides, trip experiences are so transient and unpredictable. I have a friend who regularly has this 'getting sucked into the experience' effect on mushrooms. Some don't get it on LSD.

Seriously, the problem, as it is presented here, just doesn't make sense. What's an alternative to LSD? Well, LSD. (Including all the chemical analogues that are, from a psychonautica perspective, mostly just plain LSD.)

But then also mushrooms. We are on a mushroom forum. Also Mescaline. Also Ayahuasca. Are they different from LSD? Yes. Would I consider it a catastrophe if I had lots of shrooms or cacti but no LSD? I'd be sad, as LSD is a great party drug for me and shrooms not so much, but from a spiritual perspective, it's probably even better.

So yea.. what.

I don’t know any alternatives to LSD besides related chemicals. I know a couple chems that actually comes from LSD. ETH-LAD is alright but over 100ug is complete motion sickness you will be glued to a bathroom throwing up for several hours. The first time I took ETH-LAD dropped 2 100 microgram tabs (200ug) and about 45 minutes later was feeling like everything was moving to the point I actually got severe motion sickness and was sick to my stomach throwing up for the next 3 hours after about 4-5 hours it’s a little like LSD+4-HO-DET in my opinion has less visuals than LSD and equally strong motion sickness from high doses of 4-HO-DET. Not my favorite research chem.

I also have tried 1P-LSD it’s pretty cool slightly stronger than LSD-25 but not more visual just more physical sensations like feeling like your moving when not. I usualy don’t get sick from anything less than 300 micrograms but I’ve thrown up from 400 mics before also road a longboard at speeds of over 10mph down a hill coming up on 400 micrograms and was also high on weed it was pretty fun didn’t fall in the end u hit 15-20mph but there’s a second hill uphill to slow u down but if bail while at top speed u will be bleeding from ur arms from getting scraped up. This was last Easter so I was in short sleeves so eating shit would have really hurt I was listening to base nectar while skateboarding best trip of my life so much more fun than doing it sober. Pretty scary I been skateboarding since a child though so I got skills I wouldn’t recommend trying skateboarding ur first time on psychedelics but if u skate normally and already have skills u can. I skated on 4-ACO-DMT ETH-LAD 1P-LSD and 4-HO-DET all without falling but my skates large longboard with big wheels better to hit high speed than a skateboard.

I also tried ALD-52 it was my favorite less strong than LSD but still pretty decent more warm euphoric feeling than LSD I never skated on it cause I only tried it one time 400 micrograms gave 100 micrograms to my friend we chilled it was pretty cool though the least powerful lysergimind I have tried to date (besides LSA). I still enjoyed it more than anything else I have tried cause it didn’t feel overwhelming just right stuff would move on it and u get visuals pretty hard but not very physical at all easier to tell reality from the trip than the other chemicals I found ALD-52 to be just right for me.

There are many more kinds of LSD look at TIHKAL you will find many more. AL-LAD PRO-LAD are in the book I haven’t tried ether yet. Also more chemicals not in his book 1B-LSD 1P-ETH-LAD haven’t tried them yet ether.
My favorite list goes 1.ALD-52 2.LSD-25 3.1P-LSD 4.ETH-LAD but that’s all I tried so far.

2c-b is illegal and hard to find. Darknet or blackmarket only.
But those LSD analoges you talk about are still legal to buy in most countries and are offered right via clearnet. Just google them and order them. :shrug:
9/10 people can't tell a difference. I tried lsd, ald52, 1p-lsd, 1b-lsd. All of them feel almost identical to me.
Differences between trips with the same compound due to set & setting are higher than the differences between those compounds in general. :laugh:
Eth-lad is a special one. More potent and more visual, in higher doses. 100ug just feel like 100ug for me, though. 150ug feel like 200ug, and so on.


But I think OP is looking for another type of drug. LSD analoges are just like LSD. He is looking for sth else?

It's usually a bit more complicated with all the 'novel psychoactive substances' legislation that most countries instated after the whole synthetic cannabinoid shitstorm, but that's still pretty cool. Well no need for it though when there's good, cheap local artisan-made proper LSD around, lol. :laugh:

They are pretty much the same thing as LSD as far as I know. Metabolize into LSD, or have the same pharmacology.

Which is what I was wondering about. Why. What are the criteria? Should it be legal? Should it be plant-based? Should it not have some property of LSD that they find undesirable (like should it last for a shorter time)?

High doses of thc for movies. Stronger psychedelics are too much for paying attention to movies usually. Unless it’s a really special movie.

I think spending all of your trip watching movies is a waste but watching just one of them during a trip that isn't very short tends to work great for me and special in other ways than activities in which you are more presently here.

Dissociative drugs tends to be great for immersion and psychedelics and weed have dissociative qualities, not just the classic dissociative anaesthetics.

    This has been my experience on ambien - bizarre dissociative, psychedelic effects.  I'm not big on watching tv, etc. while tripping on acid, but the question was what other drugs cause the effect of feeling like you're in the movie.  That's what ambien does to me at high doses when I force myself to stay awake.

    I occasionally watch movies on psychedelics but am not crazy about it. For me alcohol and weed are the best movie drugs. But if you enjoy movies on lsd you may like them on mescaline too I find the two pretty similar

Problem is if u make the visions sexual, ur mind might slip and you'll see some really gross shit and traumatize yourself.
