How people are treated when they arrive here is largely dependant on their attitiude and their willingness to look a few things up for themselves before they ask.

Dig through the FAQ's and use the search funtion (pick 'mushrooms and mycology', select '1 year' as the time frame and you will find answers to most questions )

Some folks here are grumpier than others, but there are very few 'old timers' who will give you a hard time if it is obvious that you have made some effort to find out for yourself.
