Psychedelics ruined my life

So the majority opinion is "psychedelics can't cause brain damage" "psychedelics are harmless" well ur wrong all wrong. Psychedelics ruined my life, or should I say, I ruined my life with psychedelics.

Ive posted about how they've dissolved my ego, gave me OCD. Now I realized that Im all burnt out and can't even code anymore. Now Im suicidal as fuck I wake up wanting to eat cyanide and all I think about is things that make me anxious and depressed. My life has turned into a bad trip.

I didn't listen to yall and I kept going when you told me to stop. Now Im done for good. I gotta get my shit together because this path has nothing for me on the other side.

I reached enlightenment one time and it was before I took any psychedelics. My mind was quiet, my life was a vast terrain ready to be explored. Now Im stuck in a ditch that I buried myself in using drugs. It only took a year to go spiraling downhill, but any further down and Ill just be another junky with a needle in his arm. Hell I even bought a crack pipe to smoke dmt.

Now this post isn't soley to badmouth psychedelics (well kinda). All you folks who only trip a few times a year, I salute you. If you're tripping nonstop every week to escape the shitty reality you put yourself in, STOP before its too late.

It's never too late my friend, you are still alive.

Your life is a result of thoughts and choices.

You can overcome this if that is what you desire.

Or you can allow it to defeat you.

Time and perseverance.

You can be happy and healthy if you choose.

Took time to get to where you are, will take time to climb your way out, but it can be done.

None, drugs completely took over my life.


Spend some time exploring other areas of interest, health would be a great place,

Nutrition, exercise, yoga, meditation, lots of very useful and beneficial books

Get plents of fluids, spend time in nature,you may be surprised how therapeutic these things truly are

I can relate very very much. I have hobbies but tripping and partying took over. Not much is as interesting anymore

I'm curious what were the specific drugs you were using? As I wouldn't consider a lot of them to be psychedelics. Anyway  I hooepe you get through this and can leave destructive behaviour behind you. Take care

I can’t even list the stuff I’ve used it’s too long of a list but what ruined me was a unlimited supply of pure Psilocin (4-ho-dmt)

Life is worthless without it. We would eat a strip of Lucy and then eat up pure Psilocin. This was in Wayne Michigan though. The good old days. With Psilocin all didn’t need friends sadly there were realistic people visuals with personalities and ever colored ninja star everything really like  the ultimate lsd trip every time using it stuff  flying around everywhere. I mean these experiences I haven’t been able to match. I spent months with a half ounce of 4ho and nobody/nothing else for the nost part. Just the visuals were so friendly and comforting and once I was on it I’d add Lucy in and e was great while on 4ho. 5 hits of L I can get great  visuals even from less but I like to be a complete waste of space when I trip nowadays I just drop for spiritual type feelings I guess as these substances have shown me more about life and myself then anything else  have encountered. Sometimes I ask myself why keep tripping I’ve already saw and got what I needed out of it but it’s some sort addiction for me.

I don’t mess with dark net anymore it’s depressing knowing I probably won’t see it again unless I stuff myself with fungus.. but that’s a joke in comparison

Can always try to have a happy holiday :undecided: that’s what I’m doing unsuccessful so far. Sure you aren’t depressed? I take kratom for extreme pain from a injury but I know for a fact it helps my depression not come around as much and I can’t get ou of bed without it. Neuropathy sucks.

Addiction is a Mental Illness.

Those who overcome Mental Illness are known to travel far distances.
A pity to those who let it overcome Them.

I still take that weekly 500-600 mics of LSD, consume massive amounts of pot smoke, and have Me a special rail or DMT excursion on occasion.
And I come out the other end just fine and dandy.

Ah...... This tells me you are searching for something but not finding it while at the same time getting glimpses of exactly what it is you're looking for. Maybe if I bump again it'll be there? Maybe if I double-dip it'll be there.

You get so hung up on finding whatever it is you're looking for that it consumes your focus.

These are all just guesses but they're based on experience.

One of the things I see on the forums is how much these things are tools of enlightenment, empathy, and self-awareness. What I don't see very often is how these things are also tools of power. "Power" is a really bad word for it (as are most words when trying to describe a vacation to Psychedelphia) but it comes close.

What you have been shown is the power side of the equation. Those substances are bringing some really powerful stuff to the classroom and you're not paying attention.

Here's my suggestion. Pick one. Mushrooms, acid, spice, whatever. Don't confuse things because from your description they're all trying to teach you the same thing. Go to the place where they start ripping you a new one and tell them you want more. Everything you read about these tools says the way out is through the storm. So keep going deeper.

Yup, there's some risk involved but great things usually require great risk. You're already in the cage with the lions so just pick up the whip and chair.

If psychedelics are telling you to stop abusing them then you should listen to them and pursue some new interests for the time being.  You're basically just punishing yourself by continuing to take them despite knowing they're not helping.  How come you keep taking them despite it being evident they're making things worse?

Daily use of these substances is not recommended. Makes it hard to listen to your body, what it needs at a certain time

Guess you can say I got addicted. Always thinking that they were the key to the solution. If they could fuck my brain they can unfuck it. But Ive found that its not true.

Sure Ive gotten some enlightening experiences. But the glory fades after 3 days and I just end up tripping again. Its kinda like gambling with your brain. Have a bad trip you trip again to make up for the bad experience. Have a good trip makes you want to feel the glory again. Like winning a jackpot vs losing it all.

So it becomes a cycle of insanity

From my recent forum readings i had come to the conclusion that you were intent on spreading bad vibes. Now i understand you are not feeling mentally well.

My advice in this case is to use the power of the things you have been through to create

Be it a painting or a landscape, website or book.  You can even channel energy and time into building a mental/astral environment to which you meditate and create over many sessions.

Cut your phone/computer use, reset your reward systems. This will make it easier for you to become authentically interested. Read a few books. A book with many ideas enough that one will interest you. Then try that idea yourself.

An easy habbit to build which is impact all areas of your life is taking care of your body. Concious diet, daily exercise.

Edit: Also kindly take responsibility. The vast concensus is to take time to integrate between trips.
