had a debate with ultra-leftist, why are my views deplorable?

so someone deleted me off facebook because im pro-choice for everyone else, but for myself and my own children im pro-life which means i want to be responsible and avoid having to kill my own child if i can help it.

anyways this person is creating an echo chamber admittedly and its only keeping around ultra leftist people.
can someone please educate me on why im wrong. i asked them to do this because im not emotionally attached to my arguments and dont mind changing them but apparently im deplorable beyond repair.

thoughts?

id still be pro-choice, i would just try to convince them otherwise. legally i have no say and i accept that. if you want to abort then there is nothing i can do, but i dont have to like the idea

I’m what is generally considered left-leaning, but those people you were talking to seem like fringe-left, aka crazy people.  They look like they spend a lot of time on Tumblr.  Don’t read too deep into that exchange, those people just seem like nuts.  There’s no more explanation to it than that.

As an aside, i consider arguing politics and personal ethics on Facebook to be a masochistic practice.  You do what you like, though.

they definitely are the tumblr type. extremists. but im willing to consider that i might be wrong anyways. i just want to be educated.;

Nope.  Neither science nor philosophy can define what life is, so I won’t be able to define what it isn’t.

It’s just paints you as a religious zealot when you call it murder.  Makes you seem like a dick who doesn’t care about women’s rights. 

I know you’re not, I’m just saying.  It’s a good way to start a senseless war.

Do not personally think you are in the wrong,
but this is prolly the "attitude" toward the issue that was off-putting to the individuals in your screen caps

Abortion is more directly a personal moral or ethical affair than a political/legal one; the fact that it is a hot-topic in the political sphere is a side issue

most people likely do not want to read someone on their friend's list effectively saying "I don't like that you're a murderer but it's not legal for me to oppose you so I won't"

Every couple of weeks i have to go out into my yard and cut the damn grass. It's annoying as fuck i just wanna play some video games.

Every couple of days i have to put up traps to kill these damned rodents in my house eatin up all my food

Sometimes humans do some stupid shit like litter and cause catastrophic accidents, ie oil spills into the ocean causing detrimental effects to wildlife igniting a chain reaction throughout the circle of life

What i like to do sometimes is take a seed from a tree and instead of planting it and propagating it to get abundant fruits to live off of i just throw these seeds into the fire and play video games all day
