I confess I gave away more than half a pound of dried mushrooms last night.
Yesterday afternoon one of my friends came by and I hooked him up with an Oz of picture perfect dried TXPE6. A mighty fine sack of golden doses - approx 1 gram each. He was headed over to the party early..
A Christmas gathering of friends on the banks of a central TX river for a bonfire under the full moon. It was quite a special event and the weather was perfect. By the time I got there last night my buddy had already passed out a bunch of doses (1-3 shrooms) to several people and the mood was good - people were feeling fine and having a good time!! Those adjectives aren't nearly powerful enough..
Briskets and tenderloins on the grills, chicken and sausages, shrimp skewers, and home-made tamales from several sources. I show up with my new shroom shirt on and wearing my LED Xmas light hat and carrying a bottle of tea that I made with an Oz of some fine GT - gargantuan caps and stems I had been saving. I started pouring shots of mush tea and the wives/women were getting theirs and everyone knows whats going on now. I dump out another Oz or so of B+ on the table and tell everyone to come pick their favorites and eat what they want.

So people are getting sorted out with food and drinks and mushies. We're moving from the backyard to down by the river where the fire is. It's getting cold enough out that you needed to be somewhat near the fire.
Next thing you know I'm holding court and talking about mushrooms and cultivation and varieties and everyone is interested and listening.. and feeling the effects! I've been starved for someone to talk to about all kinds of mycology stuffs. Even when I do get to talk about it the conversation is usually short lived. Not last night though. They had seen the perfect mushies! They had eaten/drank them and it was hitting everyone good by now. They were spellbound!
God damn my mushrooms are so fucking good!!! So smooth.. So clean.. Just fucking WOW! There was so much good karma and christmas cheer in the air. Giant smiles and roaring laughter. Hugs and high-fives. Everyone was just having a fucking fantastic time!! Whew! Man some times its just hard to handle that much of a good time! lol Literal tears of joy were shed several times by several people including myself. Ecstacy and maximum joy! For real. I'm getting choked up now just thinking about it. Whew!
So we end up getting to gift time later and I handed out half oz bags of B+ and Costa Ricans to anyone that wanted them. More hugs and high fives! They were the perfect gifts and I think everyone sincerely felt I was actually handing out magic. I actually didn't get a present/gift from anyone.. But that didn't matter at all. And it still doesn't. I had the gift of giving and spreading knowledge and removing fear/anxiety about mushrooms. And it was wonderful! Whew again!
We're a mixed group of people.. White, hispanic, asians.. All good friends and extended families. Everyone bonded more closely last night. We had all the age ranges covered but none of that mattered - everyone was on the same wavelength. It was so awesome! I think I have a new mexican grandma now and she is going to make me some special tamales! Be jealous!!
I think I went through about 10 oz of mushrooms last night. We're going to do it again on New Year's eve on another river at a different friends house.
I found the place where the cool water flows.. I call it the medicine springs!! But that is a story for another time my friends!

Hell yeah Caps! I want to trip like you do sometime. I've read one of your trip reports and that level of tripping is something I'm training myself for! lol

There's really no preparation for it lol... I go deep often, and am typically amazed everytime! I find large doses easier than low to mid doses... anxiety is over much faster, and I'm thrown into a higher frequency comfort zone more efficiently... I have to psychologically prepare more at 7g than at 21g

isn't that somethin'? people fear what they don't understand. and it can't be understood without being experienced... and you can't dose someone without consent... that'd be like, mind rape... i confess, i have felt the urge to do this. of course, i feel the urge for murder on the regular when driving on the freeway. never do.

i've also never been able to arrange a social trip, with even a single person. i have had people ask to watch me tho. fuck off.

Lmao, "I wanna see you do it first"... the one that gets me is "what's it like?" "Life changing" and "indescribable" isn't enough? There aren't words, that's the point... kind of sad too... the people I feel would benefit most, are also the most reluctant

Love the story man.It brings back memories of "the" summer I hit the mush field jackpot.I'd bring paper grocery bags full of fresh mushies to parties and throughout the night have friends and even random strangers thank and praise you for sharing the experience.

I confess, my trip ritual is to have a shower, slick my hair and, sometimes, put on a baby blue cashmere sweater. If you folks are cool with that, I'm in too! What can I bring?
