 Clean room tent for inoculation   1

Buy a small cheap tent that zips up fully. A children's play tent can work if it zips up completely. Use this for inoculations only. Follow normal air flow procedures turning off ect. Then inoculate in tent. Works like a clean room. Use it only for this purpose.
No contamination problems.

Or get a sab and still not have contamination problems.

I have an old grow tent with a nice shelf in it that I use. Works great. I have never had any issues using it. More freedom to move as you need to instead of having your hands through the holes in a sab. Found a pic of the tent I use online it is a little hard to see the white shelf. At the end of the day all that matters is that you find a way for you not to get contams

It's only a clean room if you clean the air. Otherwise it's just a room within a room.

Very true. Did not mean to imply using my grow tent was a "clean" room. I use an SAB you can stand in

oh man good idea!
Frankhorrigan had a mycobags tek where he would set up a makeshift plastic tent around his SAB so he could have more room to work with the bags. I've always wanted to try something similar but didn't seem worth the trouble.
I like your idea though, might be worth a shot.
edit: yadereh has an even cooler idea! Sounds like a nice setup.
Dunno why people are so quick to shoot this down. Its a plastic barrier with still air inside. Just because its not a plastic tote that makes it wrong?

You are free to call it whatever you'd like to. The tent is a big ass box the air is still inside of. If it makes you feel better to call it a room in a room then I suggest you roll with that. You also quoted my reply to another poster where I explain that I wasn't implying the tent was in any way a clean room and then you go on to babble about scrubbing the air and suiting up when that had just been addressed. Maybe I'm taking your post wrong but you come across as trying to post to sound important when you're just being redundant. Take care.

Very unnecessary to add steps that don't increase success. A sab gives you easily 99% success rates if you use it properly and develop skill. Trying to circumvent learning and being good at something by making unnecessary contraptions is asinine.

Doing things right is important, not me...
