It would create a stronger economy, IMO. This nation was made great by immigrants.  It sucks now because we're complacent and lazy. More immigrants will bring more people with drive and passion to accomplish things.

Idk if that is true nowadays. We have less work and in the foreseeable future manual labor will be obsolete. I don't really know that you can compare historical examples to the present day. Why would adding poor and uneducated people into the growing pool of unskilled labor be a good thing?

The borders are basically open right now. The people that want to be here came here. Others will come and some will leave. The Mexican and Canadian border are huge and it's almost impossible to patrol the whole thing. By documenting these people we could get them to pay taxes and keep an eye on them.

Most 1st generation immigrants are busy working and starting a new life so they don't have much time for crime. They bring their culture and ideas and start new businesses and enterprises. They also bring their good ass papusas and burritos.

We don't need "cheap" third world illegals to build our infrastructure in the US, that's a real silly argument.

We have tens of millions of low-skilled US citizens that could do the work, you don't think they're married to unemployment and part time work, do you?

Also, even if they're genuine refugees from Central and South American, they're not the responsibility of the US. It's the first country they flee into, not the US. So again, that argument is completely bunk.

And yes, my Polish ancestors are better immigrants because 1. They had jobs waiting upon arrival. 2. They were invited and LEGAL immigrants. 3. They didn't burden the system of social safety nets because it didn't exist. 4. They were Northern Europeans with a similar culture, religion and genetics as the existing US population. 5. They embraced assimilation.

The shitfest is estimated at near 22 million illegals and over $100 billion per year in tax burdens for the US. This scenario isn't "fine", it's a fucking social-economic disaster.

I'm sure many illegals are great people and workers, that's NOT the issue here. It's about the US enforcing the existing immigration laws.

The only good thing about the wall is storing a whole bunch of steel that sits waiting for the US enconomy to go in a rut, so it can be recycled.
