Is there a putty or if the like out there for wood? I’m currently building an arcade system and would like to add something that will help even if out and cover up some imperfections. This is my first wood project...

The only reason I didn’t is because I didn’t want to sift through 100s of products and reviews.

Whatcha building?
To answer your question, wood filler like was suggested, I will add that some of them (I think it's dap brand, what my home depot just changed to) are more like plastic. This one doesn't advertise that it has real wood in it, it flows like molten plastic, the color is much less natural, and it even feels kinda plasticy after curing.
Most projects it prob won't matter. I'm using it here and there while refinishing my wood floors and it's imperative that the color marches and handles stain.
Luckily the plastic dap "wood filler" is a closer color match to my hardwood floors and stain. For most stuff though I'd prefer the elmers "made with real wood" wood filler.
Good luck
