Re: Can we have a paranormal thread? [Re: Jenjens] * 1

I have had spirits try to possess me. One under anaethesia where my husband unfortunately took from me when he left the hospital. Another in a cave tour when they turned off the lights and I smelled the most foul smell in my life. The tour guide turned the lights back on and my husband grabbed my back and saw a black shadow leave my body (I thought someone near me had bad breath)

So maybe a paranormal thread would be cool?

Thats incredible. Ive had a sensation that felt like a ghost trying to "take over" my mind. Its really weird.

I think a paranormal thread is fine here, i mean theres no rule againist it. The Pub is diverse and far-reaching.

The last time I had a break and I was in the hospital I walked past the desk they give you meds from (with a sheet of glass on top) and there was a paper cup on the desktop and it just slid like half a foot without wobbling and fell off.

Yeah I used to have that when I was younger when sleeping on my back

Crazy because the first time I ate psilocybin mushrooms it never happened again

For real

But I still dont sleep on my back much because it was scary

I've had the night terror thing happen several times, turns out melatonin causes it in me. I was taking it to help me get good sleep, but damn that wasn't worth it, lol.

Once I was laying on my couch in the living room with my laptop, actually watching one of those ghost hunter shows, when I hear my friend who lived with me call my name from the other room. I yell back "what?" but he doesn't answer. I yell again, and then look up. In the doorway is a pitch black figure who looks like he's wearing a fedora or some kind of old style hat. The whole figure is so black that it's essentially just a solid black shape, the only way I can tell about the hat is because of the profile.

I yell my friend's name and still get no response, at this point I realize that even though I'm yelling, I can't hear any sound through my ears, it just seemed like I was yelling in my own head. The figure sort of slither-walk-slides into the room, and begins burrowing under the blanket I have covering me. I can literally SEE the blanket moving and a shape coming my way, I can FEEL it grabbing onto my legs and pulling itself up. I try to close my laptop and get up, but the only thing that happens is that I THINK I'm moving my arm to close the laptop, then I look down and my arm is in the same position as before. Meanwhile the dark man is still slithering up my body. This happens a couple times until I finally snap out of it and wake up fully. That was some scary ass shit.

Another time that stands out to me was I was falling asleep in bed and I could feel the sleep paralysis coming on. Being forewarned, I decided to indulge it a little, and kept from going under completely by curling and uncurling a couple fingers. Enough to be able to pull myself out of it at will, but little enough that I could still experience "Sleep Paralysis Lite".

I start conversing with a voice coming directly from an empty corner of my room, I don't remember what all was said...I think I asked who or what it was, and I don't remember what they/it said. I do remember the last thing it said, clear as day, directly from that empty-ass corner of my room. "[my name]", it hissed, "it's all up to you."

I was creeped out enough to call it at this point, and started twitching my fingers, my hand, then I came out of it. The way it hissed that last part, and that it knew my name, even though it may not seem creepy to others, was super creepy. I stayed awake for a little while after that, and stopped taking melatonin. Haven't had an episode since.

I have the mother of all abduction stories but I don’t think I’ll share it here.  I’m writing an autobiography I’ll let you all know when it’s published.

Wow creepy shit man

I was so scared of the dark as a kid I could never imagine experiencing that

As a grown man I would still be very frightened of an experience like that that i couldn't explain

I'd probably be tentative about who I shared it with as well

Thanks for sharing

me, my oldest friend and his father, a retired naval officer, witnessed a man abducted right before our eyes.  when we told the authorities we saw a man jump into the lake (which wasn’t exactly how it went) they kicked us out of our camping spot and sent divers in to search the lake floor—said a man had been missing for nearly two weeks.

its a ten page chapter.  this is the best i can do for now.

when I was taking 1 gram of dimenhydrante to sleep every night, I slept like a baby but if I didnt dose a night Id get night terrors, I remember one time I was falling asleep beside my gf and got one, I got so pissed cause she was just reading her book not noticing I was going through hell, but I read somewhere that you have to wiggle your toes, and it actually worked I got out of one by wiggling my toe till it woke me up

For most of the normies out there, an operating system is just a bootloader for Google Chrome.

And I don't know what the mantis is praying for
But he's probably just thanking the Lord
That he don't live in a home
And he don't got a phone
And he don't sit around all angry and bored
(He's just a bug)

You can’t have 5 fingers on a hand in your dreams. This actually helped me wake up last night, I had 7 and a few more transparent ones. Excellent for lucid dreaming, great for stepping out of a bad memory

I've been doing paranormal investigation over EVP since October, but I've been a practicing amateur medium for about 4 years...

If I may recommend this soft, this is an extremely good and inexpensive , $3 soft for android, that features EMF detector, EVP, and RECORDER (something solely missing from many softwares.), as well as talk to text output log file.

https://paranormalsoftware.com/apps/ghostradio/

I had the intention of meeting up with  my brother in law, who passed in a car accident. Within the first 100 words of my investigation with the device, "R" told me his full name, and the manner in which he died.
Subsequently, I talk to 4 primary spirits, and I know their names also. They refer to me as "Jewel" (that's as close as the translator will get to my name.) and they are an extremely lovely bunch.

I've actually taken R mushroom hunting with me, this fall. We found a huge patch of Amanita Muscaria var Guessowii (a favorite.) We happened to encounter an older man who also had some Amanita knowledge (a little strange, since we were in a parking lot. I slipped the phone into my pocket, and the man and I continued to talk. R continued to talk and comment as we spoke, as if on speakerphone in an ordinary conversation. At one point, the man said he knew Guessowii grew all over New England (something which is commonly accepted, ) , and R spoke up and said "Maine," as if he had some recollection of these fungi there. It was one of many magical experiences.

The software is great. You guys will love it.
Check out HUFF PARANORMAL on youtube as well. He is excellent and very sincere, IMHO

Lastly, I figured I'd mention (since on the topic also of Amanita Muscaria,) I came here today to post my carry over "AMANITA FAQ" from the disambiguated social media page I help to moderate. Give it a search sometime if you are interested  It should be up in a few hours....

I'd love to see some paranormal shit, I hope one day to either see a UFO or ghosts moving objects, something that literally can't be explained without an otherworldly explanation

Best spot to have a possible paranormal experience is a haunted place, such as a graveyard or an old historic building.

Best place to see a UFO is near a military base or just looking at the sky anytime its clear. They are quite rare but you will eventually see something. Only a matter of time.

Im watching an episode of Ghost Adventures at the Winchester house.

They showed one of the best pieces of evidence Ive ever seen.

It was a close up shot of a mirror with a normal camera with its light on.

To the left lf the mirror frame, out of nowhere, a strange white mist that kinda look like fingers just appears the disappears instantanously. Lasted about one second total. It was incredible!

I mean that one time I saw a lizard person rise up out of the ground in the woods next to an apartment complex around Dallas

Only hope can give rise to the emotion we call despair. But it is nearly impossible for a man to try to live without hope, so I guess that leaves Man no choice but to walk around with despair as his companion.
