Here's my autoflower cheese starting to frost up a bit. Hopefully it turns out OK because there was some issues with the heating and it went down to 1.2C one night. They seem to be taking it alright but I imagine that was kind of stressful. Also BC liquor distribution now has a cannabis website so I've got some buds that should arrive tomorrow (including tangerine dream, which I've been wanting to try for a while)

Yeah, I got em too. Neem oil and lemon oil dissolved in warm isopropyl in a spray bottle. Kills eggs too (thanks to the Neem oil). Neem alone smells terrible though. Don't spray on buds or you'll taste it.

Dish soap is better for emulsion

Fuck emulsion, I'm talking dissolving in pure isopropyl, no water at all. Only if you don't have buds yet. Spray em all, and spray the room, clean off the plants right away as much as possible, but leave the room to evaporate. It'll leave a toxic film for the little buggers. Safe for us though.

Not through the usual means of bringing cuttings indoors if that's what you were thinking
I wouldn't know honestly, could've been eggs in the soil, other than that the only real possibility is them hitching a ride from outside onto me into the closet space. Filtered air entrance and exit
The soil in the garden centers here kinda sucks. I've had sciara flies coming out of fresh bags as well

Yeah, hated not knowing if it was me or my promix. Never looked back since I switch to hydro. No bugs, except the occasional fungal gnat. Cig butt in the reservoir kills them off though, lol. Straight up, no problems! Why not use coir? Shit is pretty much sterile. ..

What’s up stoners!
Here are some pics of the final product. Pulled a couple nugs out so I could snap a pick. It’s decent enough to keep me out of the stores. It tasted good and burns to nothing so that’s cool.

Neem is primarily an anti-feedant, and some say insect growth regulator, but that maybe mainly due to the anti-feedant properties. It doesn't directly kill anything, it makes your plant unpalatable, thus starving bugs. Hence the need for reapplication until the life cycle is broken.
And I hate buds sprayed with neem. It's so common today, especially getting bud in illegal states, that I pretty much expect my bud to taste like neem to some degree.

Been on 12/12 for about a couple weeks now but just switched to HPS mode today. This one's the cheese again, it's the most photogenic one since it's the only autoflower and the others barely have buds right now

Use ozonated water for all mold and most insect problems . As long as u dont have super dense buds u can spray until day of harvest and its as organic as u can possibly get H2o. If u have nuclear resistance spider mites u can ozonate ur room(not water) for 20 minutes twice everyday for 10 days and poof no more spidermites

I thought they'd be ok, I didn't actually do any research I just kind of assumed they wouldn't mind being 12/12. The rest of the plants that are in the same grow space are non-auto, that's why I'm switching. If it does have to be 18/6 or 24h then I can find another room to set it up in, but it would be nice to leave them all together
edit: seems like a lot of people agree that 18/6+ is the way to go. If I did move it though the amount of light it would get would go way, way down.. so I don't know if it would really be worth it in the end

I don't think you should put any plant in 24h, they need darkness too for certain processes afaik...
About auto's: if 12/12 is not necessary do they tend to give more yield from receiving more light in the day? Or is there a tradeoff somewhere?

From looking around it seems like 18/6 tends to give better yields, but some people also say 12/12 can work pretty well. I'll probably just leave it since I don't have anywhere else with that amount of light, and it's more convenient. Next grow I'll maybe do all regular or all autos though (more likely all regular since that was my only autoflower seed)
