Money from wild edibles in Nc/Sc?

I was wondering if i can make a buck off wild fruits like lions mane, reishi, lions mane, oyster, jelly fungi, amanita jacksonii when in season, old man of the woods ect.

Im already making spawn for reintroduction to the wild so im not raping the woods an i always leave something behind.

Who else here has done it? (Ill probably get a mod to move this to edible cult after a page but cause theres mores activity here id thought id ask yall)

You could make a buck if you found a niche (prob restaurants/chefs).
The possibility of supporting a household i do not believe is there tho.
In both places there are already some big players.
I know of a guy doing a bunch of research& medicinal/edible sales in the region and im sure he eats up alot of the market.
Coupled with there being varying level of interest, overall. (Not high interest with the majority bible beating crowd).
Very fun pickin tho! Always love more hunters around!
Mayb u are in a place with some opportunity i cant foresee. Best of luck.
