Hey everyone . I have a cake that looks super odd. The pins are sad looking, possibly aborts ? Or is this cake done for ? Never had this problem...

Looks dry? Have you been misting it? Pins are forming but they need moisture to grow

Thanks for the replies y’all ! I figured they were knots after reading other threads. (Probably should have done that first lol) It is too dry for sure. Needs some love ASAP. I’ve been using bags and tubs and this little guy came back from the ashes. Didn’t think it took and then looked at it and it had fully colonized. I just dunked it and gave it a verm blanket so we will see how it goes
