.08-.14-.09 potting soil for poppy's
    #2567908 - 04/16/04 01:14 PM (19 years, 11 months ago)

I planted my California Poppys,Red Poppys,Forget-me-not's,and some Wildflower mixture,and some Zinna's yesterday.
Is this potting soil going to be okay for the plants?
It says on the bag its for flowering plants, but then under that it says for some Afircan Violet flowering plants,so...Im kinda stuck, but Im pretty sure that this soil will work, anyone know for sure?
Peace,
PF~

poppies will do well in almost any sort of soil. they can adapt well to difficult situations. it looks as though your soil has a good ratio of phospherous( sp.?) and that's good. it should work out alright.

red poppies? what kind of red pops...somni's?
