Five gallon buckets with the sealable lids.
I buried a full 5 gallon bucket full of vacuum sealed bags with a rubber seal and crimped closed. I may never get to it again. I hope the next species that populates earth gets some enjoyment out of them.

Had a left over BRF jar. Spawned it 1:1 with coir in a doggie travel bowl 2 days ago. So far so good. My FC with coir on the first go round was shit. I adapted and believe I have a good moisture content this time. I'm thinking about casing. Yes or naw?

Lol I have a cheap vacuum sealer from Wal-Mart that I do an ounce at a time with. The buckets and crimper tool are from work.

Depends on your conditions, but a casing is typically always helpful

sterilized some agar the other night. Closed up the lid. Turned the burner on high. Started putting the kids to bed. Realized I should start a timer for venting then remembered I hadn’t put any water in the pressure cooker. So dumb lol. It’s a little warped but good to go

I really love how my ex-wife will work around my "trip schedule". She reminded me tonight that my son has a piano recital tomorrow and says "you're going to trip after, right?" And I say "No, not until January it's too busy". And then she says "Ok, but don't put it off too long".
I guess people notice I'm a little better to deal with when I am tripping regularly

I confess I wanted to do a GW agar recipe and this morning I totally spaced out and didn't save any of the GW, I may have been pretty high and a little drunk. Not a real big deal but for sure makes me mad. Word of advice, kids don't be under the influence of mind altering chemicals when you need to focus.

Just soak an eighth cup of grain or so, in 500ml of water for a few hours (or overnight)and use it full strength... doesn't take much, and I've seen some guys cutting Normal GSW 1:4

Devils advocate. Why? Genuinely curious, because agar to me is one of those things where you get a simple recipe and just run with it...forever. The only time I would change it up is because I wasn't getting the results I needed for a particular culture

My recipe works well for me but I'm not normally a fan of changing stuff that works but I just want to try it out. Hell I already have the grain water why not make the most of it.
