Incorrect.  If you martyr yourself for islam(kill a bunch of people for Islam) you get a free pass.




Correct. If your God isn't Allah, you have therefore not done it for Allah and there won'r be a free pass at all.

it's hard to put in words, but the way i see god is from an insight i got watching the introduction cutscene of final fantasy XI one day. the start of it is a crystal and the narrator saying:

"It all began with a stone, Or so the legend says. In ages past, a sentient jewel, enormous and beautiful banished the darkness. Its many-colored light filled the world with life and brought forth mighty Gods. Bathed in that light, the world entered an age of bliss. Until, after a time, the Gods fell into slumber. That world was called: Vana'diel."

i was just idling speculating how a crystal could be sentient, what it would take for a rock to have life. then i realized over time that the crystal wasn't a crystal in the physical sense, but that crystals are about structure and connection.

i realized then that the mothercrystal in the games lore was a metaphor, for the connections that all life has between each other. each of us is like a facet of that jewel, each of us shining our own light that banishes the darkness of the void. we each are individual and unique in the color of our souls and the shape of our facet, but connected to the greater whole.

likewise, each of us is made up of many facets of personality. we may have major facets we present to the world more often, a sort of "dominant color" so to speak, but just like how a cut sapphire is blue yet gives off sparks of different colors as it rotates in the light, so our personalities are. someone might be a happy go lucky guy most of the time, but they still occasionally get angry, sad, or just bored.

so to, is truth. there often isn't just two sides to any story, but many many sides. people often zero in on their own truths yet fail to realize that it's just one side of many...that taking a step back and looking from others points of view doesn't diminish your own truth, but reveals more of the whole.

so i guess you could say my god is that greater whole, that connection between all life.
