Big warning about pigs: they need a fairly sturdy enclosure. Just like goats they are a pain in the ass escape artists sometimes.

Added a latch door on the front.

My inside of the coop isn't Orthodox. But it works.

I decided to use the old dog igloo as a goat hutch for this winter and fall. I placed the igloo in my barn. All three of my nannies fit in at once.

My billy will need his own.

Man that all looks great!  We just bought and moved house onto 15.6 acres, cleared 1 for the house and yard, I ended up bush hogging out another acre.  That back area I’m fixing to make a 50x50 pasture for some goats.  I’ve got a big 7x13 kennel we’re going to make a chicken coop out of, slap a roof on it and build em a couple nesting boxes.......it’s been slowly coming together.  Gonna get the place certified so we can get those good ol farm tax breaks!  We did pork co-op with my cousin and some other people couple years ago and fixing to take a couple steer to butcher in a couple weeks.  There is nothing like home grown meat, doesn’t get any better!
