Your best work of 2018.
Only 10 months in and still wet behind the ears but I really enjoyed this Aztec God grow on the 2nd flush with the sub flipped on end. Just looks magically neat IMO.
   
Then my pencil box grow with the same verity that's probably my personal best. Tall thick and meaty.
 
The clone didn't carry the same traits unfortunately, but sub depth and conditions I suspect are the culprit, in which I just harvested this afternoon so throwing those pics in.
  
My favorite solo mush pic. PES Hawaiian from my 3rd flush on my 1st grow.
My fat boy Burma clone that performs consistently and my favorite clone that I have.
My very first grow, looking at it I feel I have come a long way.
Ofcourse, Rustywhytes. Thankful for Pasty's and others hard work and generosity. Always wanted to get some A++ spores or something similar but got something even better.
 
One lesson of success to pass on and help others.
It has been said over and over again but I would have to say patience and perseverance are key.
Pay extra attention to your agar work and grain prep and don't helicopter grow the fruiting cycle.
One lesson of failure to pass on and help others.
Biggest lesson I learned is that it is better to under hydrate than over hydrate your subs on prep.
Learned a valuable lesson, if you want the shittiest smallest looking mushrooms you can get, use over field capacity sub.
2019 - What's on the horizon for you? What will you be studying, working on, in cultivation? Tease us!
Hope to be growing some gourmets next year, got a compost bin going in hopes to do some buttons/portabellas.
One would think they are the simplest to grow since they are the most abundant but found that is not the case.
Really want to get some Reishi spores to get those going as well. They look pretty cool and also good for ya.
Overall my goal is to get more consistent results, expand beyond just cubes and to better learn spotting contaminates on agar. 
What I remember most about this year at the shroomery is probably the shoebox popularity explosion and Pastywhyte's Rustywhtytes.

Beautiful grows everyone. Asura you nailed those Pans. They're my next "tricky" challenge I hope mine are remotely close to yours.
I just want to reiterate what Tormato said. I'm thankful for all of you! It's been a wonderful year in Mush Cult. If I could write in the back of each of your yearbooks I'd write "Hope you have a grooovy summer and party hard! We have to hang out for sure! Next year is going to be awesome we're gonna rule the skooool!!!"

1.
Sad to say my RW project shit the bed. And some spawn even got mixed together with ess by my helper but that also failed. Though I have it back on track now so real soon ill join that party finally.
I did have the first RW fruit other than pasty if a petri dish fruit counts 
So aside from a shitload of PESA grows I'll say my best this year is resurrection of ESS before muda had even passed. Now its on grain destined to be master jars.
          
2.
I'll say vent your PC. I didn't learn that this year; however I "scientifically" verified it with a maximum registering thermometer this year.
3.
Teach your help to smell spawn before using it. And don't mix my special spawn up while im on vacation 
4.
Lots more oysters and shiitake with all the land I have now.
Hopefully some exotic psilocybin species too. I said I would once I moved so I probably should do some pans or something

As an FNG I would tell other FNGs to make sure you understand everything outlined in a tek fully before starting the process. Understand why you are doing what you are doing and why it is important. Buy RR's let's grow mushrooms as well. Such a valuable resource.

Field capacity is not simple. I am still dialing that in.
4.) 2019 - What's on the horizon for you? What will you be studying, working on, in cultivation? Tease us!
I am working on a mini mono grow from my first spore prints that will be fun. I will be doing RW then APE in that order. At some point this year I am going to grow Lions Mane and get that dialed in so I can teach my dad how and get him rolling with that.

This is gonna be the condenced verson of the cpotd to look forward to every year
I need to get new spores so my little library doesnt go bad an i can get to an early start with wild patches, know more about them to help others after getting out rare/obscure spores.
Umm.. lutes an several others... ill get home an check.
Ill keep updating my pic dump till the end of the year.
Edibles id think you wanna greenhouse for ease, thats what im waiting on, hold on i have a jar of over due oyster spawn ill post back...

Luteofolius I have seen fruit in warmer conditions so it shouldn't too hard. I'm pulling my hairs messing with these cold fruiting ones that I have though ugh.
