Desktop heater for cubensis(gt)

Bought a $10 min heater for my jars. Room temp been down below 70 degrees farenheit for some reason and so i bought this and for some reason it only brings it up to just over 70 degrees in an hour. Im guessingn i would have to keep it running 24/7 to keep that warm temp for them to colonize faster. But 70 is nowhere mear 90 degrees. Should i just get a stronger heater?

Why do you think it wants to be 90 degrees?

65-75 is ideal..a heater will dry your simply jars and likely increase risk of it contaminating

Bc its a cube. And bc willymyco said so. Cubes like warmer weather right? So the warmer the faster it will grow is the thought/science behind it;surely.

It sounds like you have your mind made up. A heater is going to raise your power bill and dry out your cakes. 65-75 is perfect for growing.

If you have to wear a thin jumper its warm enough but not optimum
If you have to either take you tshirt off or put a coat on its too hot or too cold.............

WillyMyco is a complete crock of shit. Forget everything you've learned from him. I'd like to slap him just because of all the bullshit I have to correct every day that came from him.
Ditch the heater. If you're alright they are too.

Nah they’re not cakes. Rye berry jars. My name is original btw. Be4 I found his videos lol. I’m going the agar way now, tbh .. too many contams for me. For still air box can I leave the the entry points open or do they have to be sealed with gloves?
