36 days not fruiting

Well as the title states I'm 36 days since inoculation. I started all this out in a filtered bag, decided to leave about a 1/4 of the substrate in the bag to fruit. The reason being the only way over grown before was with homesteads ezgro kit and this is the closest i could recreate also they're out of business now. so I figured I've dive in and do an unmodded minitub. Anyway I'm not seeing any pins not sure if I'm doing anything wrong.  Here's a few pics if anyone can assist.

The trash kind. You wanna use agar to prevent losing 5 weeks of time and effort.

The yellow on the surface is metabolite, and likely due to bacterial action on the mycelium..The surface is basically so matted that it'd probably never fruit now. I;d guess lack of airflow and too much moisture..You should have followed a known tek...As a last ditch, bacterial as it might be, but its not moldy, you could perhaps try and break it up and spawn it to a shoebox with coir and see if you get anything

I followed this tek https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/22337800 using cpoo and rye spawn. Like i said those is my first attempt not using the ezgro kit. I know everyones opinion on them here but they did work fantastic. I believed i cold change the substrate as long as i followed the rest. Are there any other remedies to this problem. Would using it like overlay and scratching and casing it with verm be sufficient?
