Got this in the mail today thought it was a trade from the marketplace.  Turned out being something I ordered off eBay.  The stamps this guy used are unbelievable.  Some are from the 50s I think.  I don’t claim to know anything of their value but it had to be more than the 5$ item I purchased.

I did a quick google, it looks like the 6 cent stamp with the plane is from 1949, the Project Mercury stamp is from 1962, and the Grandma Moses stamp is from 1969.  I don’t think they have a lot of value (mostly 20-40 cents apiece), but that’s really interesting!  I wonder how it happened that the seller used up to 71 year old stamps on your package.  Maybe they were in a grandparent’s desk or something, just sitting there and he figured “why not?”  Cool post though.

I have a few of these laying around...from 1909-1912 or so....only worth a $1-$2 but pretty cool

Those Project Mercury stamps are cool.  My guess is seller maybe buys up older stamps in bulk at yard sales and tag sales real cheap to  offset cost of shipping for business?

That's super cool OP. I had a similar thing recently where a seller used 80's stamps on my envelope.
