Relatively easy to grow once it starts.

What am I looking at in this top Petri dish? Am I correct in stating that the only healthy mycelium is in the center of the bottom plate?

I poured 20 plates on Christmas eve and when I made my agar I put it in the PC in 2 bottles. A Frank's red hot bottle and a smaller encona hot sauce bottle (because I knew there wasnt enough for all 20 in just the Frank's bottle.) After the PC run I took both bottle out the PC and could hear hissing coming from the encona bottle, FUCK!! I hadn't tightened the lid properly and it was sucking in dirty air.
I guessed what was coming next as I'd read Mateah say it'd happened to his grain jars a few weeks before and the got contaminated. I poured them anyway and kept the 4 plates separate from the Frank's plates.
Had a look today and all 4 are contaminated where as all 16 Frank's plates are fine.
Moral of the story is that in the short time it took for me to take the bottle out of the PC and tighten the lid it was able to draw in contams that were able to colonize these plates, and itll happen with grain jars LCs or whatever else isn't properly filtered or tightened

Top one is some kind of green mold and the bottom is a bacteria colony.

Update on petri sized PP5 pots:
So I used Josex's No pour tek and PDA agar for these large PP5 containers so far with mixed success. I noticed there was a lot more condensation inside the plates when they came out the PC, I always have condensation with the smaller pots with no adverse effects. The larger pots seem to have attracted more bacterial growth for some reason.
Heres a transfer that has just grown bacteria:

Some success: South American multispore looking fluffy

Blue oyster has grown aggressively

Shiitake getting started

Notice the large droplets of water compared to the beaded up water drops normally inside smaller no pour agar pots.

Just from reading other comments I thought I was missing something. Some of the comments made me think they were supposed to look like that. I obviously didn't pick up on the sarcasm. Good to know I'm not crazy. Was thinking to myself, "what kind of mycelium is this?" I'm not the brightest.

Lots of fun agar work going on right now!
This seems like pretty aggressive breakdown back to some really strong rhyzomorphic growth. I'm super excited. It came from the biggest guy in that Golden teacher grow.
I redid my golden oyster plate. This time I used a sterile inoculation loop... Which was not as easy to use as I hoped. Anyways, I have cleaner signs of growth here now. Still very thin mycelium.
My PE transfers seem to be growing really strong! I'm super excited to have isolated good sectors it seems.
So this last one is from an APE swab I got. I wiped it pretty good along the surface, there's some contam in the bottom left corner... But then... Maybe mycelium from the APE near the bottom center-right? I zoomed in a little too. Any thoughts?

Few question agar noobie here: So I've swabbed my thai print and transferred over to agar in my S.A.B. roughly how soon should I start watching for grow? Got em in a room that's 73f. While I was at it I swabbed 3 plates of RW thanks to Caps McGee. 1 plate of TC syringe that is old as balls and probably should of started off on brf do to bacteria then transfer to agar, but we'll see where that goes.

You should see growth within 3 days up to 3 weeks or so
