As a matter of interest and for learning: would you take this plate to LC? I'm guessing your comment relates to how well and clean the plate has grown. Correct?

BTW, the little transfer cube has moved off of where it was placed because I flicked the daylights out of the plate. In a different post it was suggested to someone to flick the plate to see whether what they had turns green. The theory was that trich would drop spores causing the color change. I'm full-on here to learn, much more so than just to grow shrooms, so I try weird stuff like that when I read such comments. Needless to say, nothing went green

I did manage to get one of my old prints to germ, but several transfers in and I am still getting scalloping plates. 1469 was the successful germ, 1507 is t1, 1538 & 1537 are t2, 1593 & 1592 are t3.


I took two transfers from 1592 to the top two pucks and 2 more to plates to see how things progress. I followed a suggestion from Baba Yaga to place the puck samples on one side of the pucks and will transfer from the other side when the mycelium reaches that far. And hey, if the plates come out clean too, I won't even be mad.
