Check out the cottony myc jumping off the agar at 9:00 and 10:30, and the almost flat and homogeneous "stealth" growth spanning the plate from 12:30 to 8:45. The other plates are all homogeneously looking like this "stealth" myc, with no sectoring visible.

Hmm, that seems to somewhat defeat the purpose of agar. If cube myc can penetratebthe agar surface then what would stop other molds from penetrating into the agar as well?
What kind of recipes do you go by? I make my agar on the soft side between 0.8-1.5% and I've never noticed myc work its way into the puck. Perhaps if you have clumps of BRF, dog food or some other material that myc can penetrate I guess it's possible.

I use MEA. 1.5-2% always well mixed and uniform. . .

As suggested earlier, myc definitely travels ’through’ agar.

I’ve just noticed that T1 seems to sometimes spend less time on the surface

I know it can effect the growth and some people pour thick, but I just never felt the need.
