If it gets too deep, that plin might implode. (ts?)

You out of pocket for this one. God damn.

Its funny though

Crass, but not heartless. I was relieved for them when I heard today. Instantaneous death is preferable to 5 days of deciding who's gotta go to make the oxygen last longer. Snap!

That's the REAL team-building exercise. Requires exceptional decision-making and managerial skills. Prioritization under duress.

Should be emulated in a pool for high-dollar corporate retreats. Maybe I'll lead those 6 weekends a year after I retire in 3 years. Payment required in advance. I'll take Visa, MasterCard, or pallets of birdfood, verm and coir.

I have a couple plates that have been stuck at this growth for the past 2 weeks. What would this indicate? Every other plate from that session has fully colonised & has no signs of contamination.

T5 Z-Strain

Would it be a bad idea to send it to grain? Thinking the only reasons for the stall could be either contam, genetics or due to the relatively high nute (lme, dex)

Cheers for any advice :stoned:

I would send those to grain. They look good to me.

Where do you store your plates, and how do you wrap them. I’ve had plates seemingly stall out, just to take off after I opened them to transfer. I think some may run out of oxygen if wrapped too tight, or wrapped and kept in a bag. This happened to me when I used to store my plates in a ziploc.

I just keep them on the shelf, but it's definitely possible I wrapped them too tight.

I'll send 'em today in that case. Thanks for the intel Roscoe.

Psycho, you should switch up your agar grow to lions mane. This stuff will fruit anywhere. It’s coming out from under the cling wrap. It’s coming for me!

Working with a bunch of PE clones that came from robust flushes.

On T4 and the plates still aren't showing strong, even growth.

I started these PE plates around the same as some GT clone plates, the GT ones are looking more robust, even though the PE performed better at fruiting.

Below are two of the PE plates (most of them look like this). Should I continue transferring or start over?

Halos and water droplets. What’s going on? [Re: Tormato]
    #28375795 -

I just switched from PDA to MEPYAC plates and they are colonizing completely different than my original PDA plates.
Most of my transfers, have a very faint/dry halo around the mycelium and one of the Transfers has water droplets directly central to the piece I transferred.
Any idea what is going on?

They were transferred a week ago.
