I'll try that with the parafilm, I usually use the petri itself to stretch it so that could explain, also I know rh factor and that

Also, you can get liquid malt extract. In fact if you ask for LME at a brew shop that's what you're getting, not LIGHT malt extract. They have DME and LME. Dry and liquid

Define loose enough? It's kinda loose. Like I can rattle it a bit up and down (gl45 lid). Sometimes when I go to take it out of the pc it's tighter than when I put it in though.

It takes a lot of turns for it to come off so I can try leaving it very loose. You think it matters?
