Found these on a walk today.
Pretty sure it's Panaeous,
But I honestly have no clue.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Found in mix of dirt, leaves and woodchips, in the city.
Gills are blackish
Spore print blackish/purple
The cap was a little brittle, but the stem was well connected.

Bell cap Panaeolus look more leathery than your typical psathyrella.

"Leathety" That's why I thought these were possibly 'good ones' as well.
Thank you all for your help! I've bought 5 books and have been online reading about mushrooms for the past 2 weeks and have been studying constantly, but I still feel i have NO idea what I'm doing. I'm even dreaming about them now! 
How naive was it to think I'd have figured this out by now? Lol

hmmm..... prolly not player.
why come your wrists have weird wrinkles in them? do you have really short bones and a lot of skin or something?

Lol. No. I'm 6'2 185 lbs and played football.
Maybe it's the bend in my wrist causing the wrinkles? Does your wrist not wrinkle or something?
