those solar panels probably get close to covering his electrical costs most of the year. I know he flies commercial because my mother has been on a flight with him on southwest. (Most politicians fly commercial) Most of what you hear about al gore is bullsht manaufactired to discredit the cause.

Where is your outrage that the oil companies pay millions of dollars to public relations operations to muddy the science and create doubt in the public and politicians. There is so much money being spent to promote ideas that serve the corporate interests of companies that want to make sure the US doesn’t do anything to hurt the oils and gas industry.

Exactly.  And a study from last year shows that just 100 companies are responsible for 71% of global emissions.  THAT's who needs to be set right.

He was a high ranking boss who cleaned up a lot of acid mine drainage and even made reports on illegal dump areas, which resulted in death threats. He was respectable.

He told me about the changes he had seen in his time at the DEP. He told me about growth on top of mountains and different plant life growing. He believed in PH levels changing in the soil.

I don't doubt that there is climate change, but I do think the there is a middle ground solution. Peasants shouldn't  pay the massive cost of drastic infrastructure change.

It's important to be aware, but the solutions in have to be reasonable.
