People in Massachusetts use the word wicked a lot. Like "those mushrooms are wicked good"
Also we use the word grinder for what other places would refer to as a sub or sandwich.

In line for me up until a few years ago when I moved to NYC. “Next on line” still drives me crazy.

Weird. A grinder in my hometown is actually an Italian sausage sandwich. Usually ground sausage. We used to call them guinea grinders until people started getting all sensitive about shit.

I haven’t spent much time north of the border (I can’t use checkerboard in this case right?) but I bet you fucks have a bunch of weird sayings.

In Philly a sub/hero/grinder sandwich is called a hoagie. The word jawn is used to replace just about any noun.

mec = mexican brick weed (although probably a dead phrase now that medical has been available for so long)
and also apparently in the rest of the country no one says "the" before the name of a freeway/highway. They just say the number.

Nope but close. I think just about everyone in the midwest calls it pop though. With most places in the south, especially texas, they call it coke. What kind of coke would you like sir? I'll take a dr pepper.
Kybo, squinnie, OWI, ITBS, and the walking taco or exclusively from my hometown/state. Pretty sure of it anyway.

Main one here would be craic.
What's the craic? - What's happening? Any craic? - anything happening? Last night was good craic - last night was a good night He/she is good craic - he/she is fun.
Dead on. Can mean thanks or I don't believe you or a good person. "Have you got the time mate?" "Half 12" "dead on" "I won the lottery last night" "aye dead on" "Do you know yer man Johnnie?" "Yeah he's dead on"
I'll knock yer ballix/cunt in. (these are gender interchangable. I'll knock her ballix in. He's gonna get his cunt knocked in in a minute.) Also knock his/her fuck in.
What about You? - how are you doing? "Alright big lad, what about You?"

Are you from or have you ever lived in Fort Worth? One of yours is obviously very specific to Fort Worth. When I typed the message regarding “coke” instead of soda or pop, I initially was going to say that it’s a Fort Worth thing which it definitely is. Dallas folks say it too sometimes but ALL peeps from Fort Worth use that term.
I think Texans, and southerners in genera, have some very unique words/sayings you don’t hear many other places. Midwesterners too but not like the south.
I’m dying to hear some lingo from Europe and Australia. Where you at JSB?
Any of you guys use or ever hear anyone use the term herb? I think it was a NE American term to call someone a douche back in the 80’s and early 90’s. You’ll hear it in some beastie boys songs.

Definitely have heard the term herb a lot.
Also calling someone a douche or douche bag is pretty common.
